A beautiful area, very green and hilly, but approx 27km...

A beautiful area, very green and hilly, but approx 27km from Gawler on a very windy unfamiliar road . We didnt expect that and found it rather stressful driving in the rain. Our room was huge, excellent aircon, the bed extremely comfortable and we also received a complimentary breakfast.

There are great walking tracks nearby, close to the Tea Tree...

There are great walking tracks nearby, close to the Tea Tree Plaza shopping centre a short drive. Lovely drives through the Adelaide Hills just 5 mins up the road. A must is a visit to Newmans Nursery for coffee cake and plants.. the Blue Gums Hotel does lovely meals. Wineries close in Paracombe and Glen Ewin. The Tea Tree Gully museum is interesting on local area.

This hotel room was just as advertised.

This hotel room was just as advertised. Lovely friendly helpful staff, clean rooms with in-room free simple continental breakfast. The rooms have been updated and are simple pleasant rooms. The room was very quiet with no traffic noise. Parking was free and right outside the room. The hotel has a restaurant and there are other good food options very close by. There is an excellent large Foodworks also close by. We were visiting family in the area and the hotel ticked all the boxes. We would stay again.

Tea Tree Gully is a good area but this hotel / motel is more...

Tea Tree Gully is a good area but this hotel / motel is more for tradesmen and business travellers, It's not suitable for tourists who want to visit the area and walk etc. Tea Tree Gully itself is an old early settlem3ent which has an excellent history museum
