We have stayed in Tairo at this accommodation before and found it delightful. The pub across the road had great counter meals and the area is quiet and so pleasant. The staff were wonderful and accommodating, friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much and are looking forward to returning for another stay, hopefully in the not too distant future.

I stayed at the Kimba Lodge after a trip out in the bush. I was very impressed by the cleanliness, comfort and service of this motel. The room was spacious, well-equipped and had a nice view. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. The motel also has a pool and a restaurant next door which were great. The location is convenient and I would highly recommend this motel to anyone looking for an over-night quality stay in Barcaldine. It was a great value for money and a pleasant experience. Thank you Kimba Lodge for making my trip easier and more enjoyable!

Tiaro is a quaint little town with a awesome Christmas shop...

Tiaro is a quaint little town with a awesome Christmas shop and an awesome craft cottage that sells lots of local items. The butchers is great also. Behind the pub is a park, which was a nice walk from where we were staying.

I particularly liked the feel of staying in a country town...

I particularly liked the feel of staying in a country town where locals really like where they live. It’s clean and tidy, quiet and friendly. Great pub food. Fabulous coffee. Paper cups were a let down but the coffee was first rate.

Such a lovely small town.

Such a lovely small town. Friendly people and great coffee shop with lots of retro items! They also have a wonderful Christmas shop to visit. We did our own meals but apparently the pub does takeaway, so very handy.

Clean and confortable with central location.

Clean and confortable with central location. Picked the Station Hotel for dinner and it was nice food (pub style food) and staff welcoming. Do accept small to mdium dogs which was nice (we have one but not on this trip). Outdoor amenities include outdoor kitchen and pool area. Kitchen location wasn't the best and looked like you would need to open it all up for guests rather than being readily available to quests. But it looked really usable. Pool area was less than inviting and looked uncared for. We stayed a night so really good for that. But for a longer term stay the amentities may be lees then you were expecting.

The room had a microwave, electric jug, toaster, crockery & cutlery, tv, table & chairs, a couple of comfy chairs all in all everything you needed. We had a meal at the Royal Hotel which was excellent Only there for one night but you could stay longer. Plenty to see, little cafes, an excellent butcher

Tiaro is really a stop over town.

Tiaro is really a stop over town. Unfortunately food options are limited especially when we were there at Christmas. All I could get to eat was two crumbed squares of god knows what from the service station. On the lower side of the highway there are very good park facilities and all up its a quaint but very busy little town.
