it was VERY CLEAN! Liked that there was tea and coffee and biscuits in the Main eating area 24hrs One of the few places in Toodyay you can stay overnight only and don't need to stay for x2 nights. This is a big PLUS liked the instructions for check in text you get before the stay that give you all the info

Toodyay is a great little town to visit.

Toodyay is a great little town to visit. A short drive from Perth, picturesque, peaceful and historic. Great for a winter weekend. Lots of great places to eat in town (We went to the Vic Hotel, the Toodyay bakery, the Cola Cafe and the Early Mist Cafe and enjoyed them all) and shops to browse, and definitely take a walk along the river. Beautiful on a misty winter’s morning!

Great bakery, post office shop and Christmas shop.

Great bakery, post office shop and Christmas shop. We really enjoyed the Art Trail around Toodyay. You need a car to see the surrounding area for a few days. A good distance from Perth for a few days.

My daughter and mother stayed at Pia’s place; these are their comments - The owner Pia was a gracious host. We had good conversations and a very comfortable stay. Pia’s home is well kept and is very very clean, her garden is also beautiful. Toodyay Upon Avon Guest House and Gallery is highly recommend!

Very crowded being the Moondyne Festival, but still able to...

Very crowded being the Moondyne Festival, but still able to wander freely through the streets and peruse the many stalls and activities. Can highly recommend the Toodyay Bakery (excellent meat pies for lunch), Early Mist Cafe (bacon & egg toastie and B.L.O.T breakfast) Victoria Hotel, fantastic night in fully self contained King room and dinner in the restaurant (chicken schnitzel, chips & salad tea). So much history around Toodyay, a visit to the Old Court Rooms and Gaol is a must do.

Easy drive into the country from Perth.

Easy drive into the country from Perth. Beautiful hilly with small farms and a quaint country town that makes the most of the attractions. if you stay the night it is very quiet.....no sirens..no traffic...even the train rolling through seemed quiet.

Toodyay is an easy, one hour drive from Perth. It's a very charming, quaint town that's very accessible with something for everyone, from Arts, picturesque landscapes, fresh country air, a beautifully located caravan park in a natural bush setting. It's a perfect escape for those searching for some peace in nature.
