My husband and I happened upon Jeff’s beautiful accommodations by chance—needing a break for the drive. This is beyond a gem—Tooma offers peace, tranquility, and the loveliest people. Jeff was an excellent host!

Beautiful country town, my first visit to this town and it is amazing. Nice little town, close to Selwyn Snow Resort and on the way back we stop by in nice vineyard in Tumbarumba. Went there for wine tasting but end up with breakfast and great coffee. Kids had their favorite waffles with ice cream topping. Can see a lots of farm animals and off course never missed out the beautiful scenery.

A great stop for doing the Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail...

A great stop for doing the Tumbarumba to Rosewood Rail Trail. Tumbarumba has all the basics for your stay - accom, pub, cafes, supermarket with good range of items, bike and hire shops. All in a tranquil setting on the slopes of the Snowy Mountains. Great to get away from the rat race. And a number of cellar doors nearby...

We visited Tumbarumba a few years back, and fell in love with the area. So much so, we bought a property here! Great wineries, some local native attractions, and their famous Tumbarumba-Rosewood Rail Trail.

We only stayed the one night on our way back to Melbourne...

We only stayed the one night on our way back to Melbourne from Sydney although we did have a problem with the Elms Restaurant. The waiter dropped a glass of white wine into my son's lap, luckily he was wearing jeans and not a good pair of pants. The meal was great and plenty of it but the account for our meal came to over $140 and we felt that we could have been given a discount on our meal other than 2 mugs of hot chocolate which we were told were free .
