The family room we stayed in was clean and tidy. Unexpected apples and yoghurt for our family of 4 and cereal packages also a surprise for us. We will definitely stay here again.

We could not fault this beautifully presented property. We had the Bradman room with the ensuite and it exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay there again and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends visiting Ulmarra.

Anne and David were a delight. It was a wonderful stay at thier place. Our plans didn't go as per the plan due to bad weather but their place was so lovely that we still had a great time. Would love to come back and stay with them 😊

This was absolutely the highlight of our road trip. Terry is the sweetest ever and her positive energy was infectious!! Her dinner was DELICIOUS as was breakfast. You can clearly tell how much both of them love the land and BB and spotless clean. Still wondering how they do it all themselves and maintain the level of quality! Spotted koala's too!

Property owner met us at checkin to show the property and facilities and to provide us with an entrance key. Very spacious accommodation. We loved and are greatful for the 'little extras' provided food and treats in the fridge, extra towels for bathroom and beach use, soaps and shampoos in the bathroom. Fully equipped premises suitable for all age groups, for couples, or families or sharing friend groups. The house is on a secluded property surrounded by wonderful trees and garden areas. 10 minutes or so drive into Grafton main. 45-50 minutes drive to several beaches, we especially liked Minnie Water Beach. Pool at the property was great. Kim and Jenny are wonderful and friendly hosts.

We always stop over in Ulmarra when travelling for work as it is comfortable, peaceful and quaint with great food at the Pub Hotel. We love visiting all the galleries and sometimes see the best sunsets over the river. The coffee shop is also great for a meal or to purchase fresh good quality bread. The flying foxes are interesting near the public toilets. An easy walk around town to stretch the legs on your travels. We love the restored town and pretty buildings and gardens.

Ulmarra is a beautiful little town…so historic and picturesque, right on the bank of the Clarence. It has an eclectic mix of quaint shops and they’re trying hard to maintain their heritage. The pub food is sensational!

We loved the look of the old town and we would have liked to have stayed longer to check out the shops and try some other places for dining. We chose to go to the Ulmarra Hotel for dinner. It was 7.30. We were expecting...PUB, closing 10.00??, kitchen may close 8.00 ??? NOT...we were told that they were closing... Then they said, "O.K", but you have to order NOW!! NO, we couldn't have coffee. THEY WERE CLOSING... We were given a pizza menu. Because we couldn't decide which one we would have to share we were told again that we had to order NOW. Don't you realise that we are CLOSING. We are both 80 y.o. and I need a walking stick. If it hadn't been raining, if we had known where else to go, we would have left. But we just apologised for being late and quickly ate our pizza and went back to our accommodation. This review may not be what you were expecting but we loved The Bank B & B and we loved the town and that so many people loved the town so much that they chose to live there and preserve their homes and the town buildings to live in a little piece of history. We would definitely recommend Ulmarra as a "must visit". And stay at The Bank for a for a trip back in time.

Lovely little town, everyone is very friendly.

Lovely little town, everyone is very friendly. It's very small, only one street of shops and they all close early so I recommend going in the mid-morning to get to visit everything. Lovely spot on the river.

The romance of the Ulmarra hotel with our three rooms opening to the balcony was enticing and beguiling. Apart from the lack of a smile and warmth from one of the staff (we told him so) the rest of the staff were helpful and enchanting. Dinner in the restaurant by the magnificent river was wonderful with quick and friendly service.

The location was central in the small town of Ulmarra, with the Hotel and river walk very handy. The unit was clean and very comfortable and it was a pity we couldn't have stayed longer. Continental breakfast was a bonus.
