The houseboat is very roomy in a excellent location with great views of the river and birdlife from the back deck. The room was clean, inviting and great value for money. I stayed in a similarly priced room on my way to SA and it was much more run down. This room was modern and they were very accommodating to my late check in.

Plenty of rooms for everyone.

Plenty of rooms for everyone. So many bathrooms no one every having to wait for showers or the toilet. The kitchen is capable of cooking for the largest of groups. The outdoor bar area got a work out for 4 days and delivered. Plenty of room for games and well located to all the facilities. The view of the river was beautiful and serene. With the pub literally a stones throw away it had great priced meals and drinks. So close that no one has to miss out and be the designated driver. We had the place for 4 days and it was 4 days of stress free holidaying for all.

This property caters for large groups, ie six or seven...

This property caters for large groups, ie six or seven couples. It is not the type of accommodation you would stay in just as a couple. It is self catering with a full kitchen and a couple of commercial size fridges. If you are not up to cooking then the pub is close by. The heating inside the courtyard is good plus reverse air conditioning in the bedrooms. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all renovated although no ensuites. It was clean throughout although quite a heavy smell of old fat in the kitchen but this was not noticeable once we opened the door and let some air through. The Courthouse is unique and the owners have put a lot of thought into it. We stayed two nights and enjoyed visiting some Langhorne Creek wineries on one of our days.
