The Emu Retreat offers guests a private and quite place to relax with a comfy Queen size bed for a good nights sleep, private ensuite, kitchenette, dining suite, single bed, 55" Smart TV, free Wi-Fi, fridge, microwave and reverse cycle heating/cooling. Guests also have access to electric frypan, kettle and toaster with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and milk supplied. Continental breakfast is also supplied. Breakfast consists of a variety of cereals, bread/toast, margarine, various jams, honey, peanut butter & Vegemite, milk and orange juice. Outside there is ample room for off street parking. We have a dedicated undercover parking space for guests just outside the entrance to the room. If you have a trailer, caravan or boat they can be parked securely off the street for peace of mind. Guests also have their own private entry with keypad access. Smoking is outside only. Undercover BBQ area is located just outside the retreat’s guest entry.
I’m a quiet person who loves animals, nature, sport, family and running my B&B. My husband David is an Electrical Design Engineer. We love making people happy, we’re a bit old school, we believe in treating others how we would like to be treated, using manners and being respectful to those around us. We’re easy going, easy to talk to, friendly and approachable.
Quiet country town next to the Murray River. Nearby you can visit Old Tailem Town, Shell V-Power Motorsport Park, Pangarinda Botanical Gardens or enjoy the serenity on the banks of the river.
