The sunflower is a cute motor inn in the cute town of Quirindi. The staff are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. We stayed to go to the country music festival in Tamworth it is only around an hour away. The location from the motel to the shops in Quirindi is a 2 minute drive. There are pubs close buy to eat out. The facilities are clean, comfortable and spacious. We would definitely stay again we had a great time. I have stayed in this area before and there is a lot to explore and do, even the drives in this area are interesting and the scenery is gorgeous.

When I chose the Commercial Hotel in Werris Creek, I was...

When I chose the Commercial Hotel in Werris Creek, I was totally conned by the advertisement that showed a lovely looking hotel with facilities that were not available. I totally wasted my $260 for two nights, as I had to get alternative accom for the second night. The owners of the Commercial Hotel in Werris Creek need to be advised that the conditions that exist for what appears to be a derelict hotel are not acceptable in this day and age. If the hotel is not open for business as the advertising leads people to believe, they need to remove the listing until such time as it reopens for business. This is the worst accom I have come across after many years with Bookin.com.

The rooms were nicely done. Clean, modern and comfortable.

The rooms were nicely done. Clean, modern and comfortable. The shower took some getting used to — turn the taps for a long time and wait for water, don't assume that there isn't any! The staff are amazing. Friendly, helpful and the chef makes great vegetarian food if you ask for it! The front verandah of the pub looks over a very quiet highway, onto a park with mountains in the distance. A nice, shady spot to watch the sunset. Watching the kids that come to play pool at the outdoor pool table was amusing too and I loved how the staff just let them play.
