The property has a rustic appeal about it; has been fitted out well considering its history as a milking shed when the property was a dairy farm; a very quiet location. Would be quite happy to stay again subject to a few changes being made.

We had perfect celebration for my partner’s birthday at Spicers Tamarind Retreat in Maleny. It was absolutely lovely! Nestled in a gorgeous private, tropical setting. Excellent villa accommodation and an outstanding restaurant. We loved it 🩷

What a lovely area, with close access to the bustling little township of Maleny. Witta is perfect to get away from the tourist trap while still having the convenience of access to everything you could need.

We would not recommend this property in summer.

We would not recommend this property in summer. The cottage is very small. The host does not provide adequate cooling alternatives. Indoor temperatures reached 32 degrees and 100% humidity. Heat stress meant we had to remove our dogs and made the decision not to stay. The hosts kept $1700 and tried to claim extra pet cleaning costs despite the website advising there were no additional costs. The property is not fenced for dogs and they is no privacy.
