The friendliness of the hosts! The accommodation which was super clean! And of course the great breakfast! Also we were there with a baby and the host upgraded us to the little apartment downstairs to make sure we could move comfortably in the hotel! The food in the restaurant was exceptional - both the a la carte menu and the fixed price options. The staff are friendly and genuinely helpful, giving recommendations for local hiking trails and other activities. The hotel location and the town of Butgenbach are wonderful places.

The owner was really nice. He speaks only French, but is a confident Google Translate user. We were able to check-in early. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. Smart TV in the room, so we could Netflix after we were done with biking&hiking

Loved the updates they had done to the breakfast area and rooms. All was clean, simple while stylish design. We enjoyed breakfast and all of us enjoyed the 2 rooms booked for the family.

The staff at the restaurant was very warm, friendly and polite. The rooms are new and nice and the view in the restaurant is beautiful! It is a unique location.

Wonderful location, in part thanks to the large wonderful garden. Quiet, peaceful, yet easy to reach.

We picked this hotel so we could visit Spa Franco Champs race track which is an easy 15 minute drive away - local town of Malmedy really easy to drive to (6 minutes) The restaurant was always busy serving high end cuisine to locals. Breakfast was superb and plentiful with the owner going out first thing every morning to the local boulangerie for fresh produce. The owners were a delight as were all staff we met, nothing too much trouble and all met with a smile and good humour -

amazing place just outside the centre Bassana on the river bank. Lovely garden in the back to have a drink and fantastic breakfast to get started int he morning. way above what was expected.
