RomaniaBreakfast on 14th floor was amazing! Parking was large enough for so many cars, staff was very kind letting us check in an hour earlier. Close to the center, with amazing views of the Danube. There is also a restaurant just near the hotel, where you can find food almost anytime.

Vidin is a beautiful city on the Danube River with a large pedestrian area and a long riverside promenade perfect for walking and cycling. Its location is excellent, with Romania and Serbia close enough for easy day trips. Nearby attractions include the spectacular Belogradchik Rocks, Venetsa Cave, and Ledenika Cave. The region is also known for its excellent wineries and wine tasting opportunities. A great destination for nature, relaxation, and exploring northwestern Bulgaria.

Vidin is located in the far northeast part of Bulgaria and reaching it is a bit of a challenge due to the poor infrastructure but the town offers interesting places to visit as well as good dining options. The Baba Vida fortress is a must see - the most well preserved medieval fortress in the whole of Bulgaria. The Belogradchik Rocks are a phenomenal natural wonder that is worth the drive from Vidin. For the wine lovers - Bononia Estate is absolutely amazing. Serbia is also near and could be visiting rather easily.

The city is so beautiful, peaceful, full of young people and many renovated archaeological and historical buildings and landmarks. The city is developing very well and I liked it very much. I recommend it to anyone who has decided to explore the cities along the Danube or spend time in a beautiful and peaceful river town.

Beautiful city, very very friendly locals, delicious Bulgarian cuisine, great walk next to Danube river enjoying beautiful view. “ Teatro” restaurant is in the marine park and have good food.The only downside is if you travel in the summer there are mosquitoes all over town and they sting badly.

Vidin is a charming small city.
Vidin is a charming small city. The park, architectural and historical monuments, and the art museum provide interesting sights for 2-3 days. Just sitting in the park along the Danube watching the river traffic is a relaxing time. If you're looking for a couple of days to just slow down, it's a great place.

Nice town with lively promenade/park along the Danube.
Nice town with lively promenade/park along the Danube. Fortress "Baba Vida" has a long history, had historically withstood sieges, and served as home base for regional rulers. The new bridge nearby has made Vidin the obvious choice for a one-day stopover, and I don't regret it.

Excellent value for money. Perfect location next to the river and close to centre. Very friendly staff. Nice spacious clean room. Breakfast was surprisingly good for a 3 star hotel coupled with a very friendly service. We had also dinner in the hotel restaurant and we really enjoyed it.

The location is the only highlight. The hotel is on the main street, close to the center, the riverfront, and plenty of restaurants. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not live up to expectations.

The hotel is nice and new with friendly staff, right in Vidin so very convenient. Close to the railway station and taxi rank. It has a 24-hour front desk and your room rate includes breakfast.
