Economical, clean, quiet has an in-house restaurant and near to the Newfoundland ferry. Kim, the owner was delightful, she went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable and I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again.

Different kind of set up but worked for what we were looking...

Different kind of set up but worked for what we were looking for. Convenient to the highway and the ferry to NFLD. Fan in the bathroom was not properly attached to the ceiling and was suspended over our head. Staff looked after a concern we had right away - great customer service. Our meal in the restaurant was outstanding!

The Bras D'or area is beautiful and should be included as...

The Bras D'or area is beautiful and should be included as part of your Cape Breton/Cabot trail experience. There are lots of nice places to stay including the Kow Motel as long as they don't try and put you in room #2!! We always enjoy the visits to Cape Breton and usually 2 days is enough unless you are an avid hiker. We find the Skyline trail in the Park a nice hike and trip up on the gondola at Ingonish during Fall colors awesome. The whole time in Cape Breton during fall colors, this year October 6th through probably 21st the colors are spectacular.
