I love the cleanliness of the cottage and the warm, helpful & friendly hosts. Self Check-in and Check-out are very convenient. Host is very responsive and help is readily available with a whatsapp message. Love the kitchen the most as we were able to heat up our food instead of heading out for every meals. Grocery store is less than 5min away. When we were there, there was a heavy storm. Due to the heavy storm, snow accumulated and we were able to build a snowman the next day!! We had lots of fun in the snow. The heating system in the cottage is good with 1 heater each in every room, living room, kitchen and even bathrooms. Hosts prepared a folder of restaurant menu and information. There is also a notice board where he puts up useful information and events happening in Churchill. Hosts also gave lots of useful tips for churchill which prove to be very useful. Host is also very accommodative to our request for early check-in and check-out. That helps us alot as we were able to stay warm in the cottage instead of standing outside in the cold. I deeply appreciated the flexibility and love provided by the hosts.

Lynn picked us up from the train station earlier than normal. We had a very enjoyable stay and our other guest house couples were super compatible to spend time with. Gord cooks a great breakfast daily.

The location was perfect...just a couple of minutes from the Train Station and across the street from restaurants and shops. The breakfast was perfect...continental or cook to order. The staff was always helpful to answer questions and give suggestions....We were picked up at the train station and given a cheery tour of the town so that gave us a lay of the land and where we wanted to visit.

Taylor was one of the best hosts I have had in my travels. Extremely friendly, very helpful and flexible, very attentive to the well being and safety of the guests. He definitely went beyond his duties. His food truck on main street had amazing food.

The owner and staff were very kind and went above and beyond. We were trying to see the northern lights and they asked if they would like to be woken up if they were out. We were able to see them right outside of the bed and breakfast but the owner offered to take us outside of the town were there would be less light and we would be fully able to experience them. We also went on a Polar bear tour with them and were able to see a mother and one year old cub.

I stayed at Inukshuk rooms for six nights in early October 2025. Hosts Dave and Celine were very friendly, outgoing and helpful, sharing their three comfortable private rooms with visiting guests from around the world. Knowing I was arriving by plane from Winnipeg, Celine sent me a welcome text when the plane landed, with the local taxi number. They do not usually offer a pickup service. The taxi service was fast, friendly and efficient. Their modern, two-story residence was clean and well lit, with a large shared kitchen, a large family room with sofas and a well-stocked library with books about the Arctic, polar bears, the fauna and more. A large dining room table was a good place to chat and share meals with other travellers. A local grocery store to buy provisions is a block away. Their home is on the edge of the town. During my stay, there were a couple of nights of fantastic auroras! You just step into their open backyard, and there they are. Even with a full moon, the Northern Lights were visible, soon after dark, peaking around midnight. Bring warm clothing to stay outdoors for a few hours to marvel at the display! The hosts were delightful to be with! Dave does work for the NGO Polar Bears International - he was very knowledgeable and informative. I highly recommend a stay with this couple. I know I will be back! 5 Stars!

Churchill is an amazing place to enjoy nature, wildlife and the northern lights. The train adds to the experience of getting here. Anywhere you can see polar bears in their natural habitat and whales coming up to the boat to say hello can't be beat.

Some snags with weather/train issue but we got great help from the local Tour Operator, Frontiers North and Destination Churchill. 🌟 Review for Sarah’s Dream House – Churchill, Manitoba Sarah’s Dream House is exactly what the name promises — a dream come true! ✨ Every wish is met with warmth and care. The location is perfect — close to everything in town — and the breakfasts are fantastic. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and cozy, and the host goes above and beyond to make sure your stay in Churchill is truly magical. The house has five guest rooms, a welcoming central living room, and a shared kitchen — a wonderful setup that brings travelers together. One of the best parts of staying here was meeting the other guests. We shared meals, photos, stories, tours, and even a car! Everyone was so friendly, and we’ve all become lifelong friends. The owner, Taylor, is truly special — he even rented us his car for a day and gave us rides to and from the airport and train station. Everyone in town knows and loves him, and it’s easy to see why. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home and where connections are made as easily as memories — Sarah’s Dream House is the perfect place to stay in Churchill. 🐻❄️

The town was about as friendly and helpful as one could possibly imagine. Along with our wildlife tour and night to see the northern lights, it was fun to frequent the restaurants (even ate at the hospital once and the food was great!). We also visited a robust community center and played air hockey, bowled and could have done even more of the activities if we had the time! Everyone we encountered was just delightful and helpful!

What a treasure of a town on the edge of the boreal forest...

What a treasure of a town on the edge of the boreal forest and the Canadian Tundra. We received a warm welcome from natives and imports who all worked together to make our stay memorable. This is the perfect adventure for solo female travellers - a very small and safe town with unique sights and adventures. With weather appropriate clothing you can be out and about every day. Dress in layers and be prepared for heat, or cold winds, rain or sun - all in one day!! The food at most of the restaurants exceeded our expectations. We had dinner at a different place for days....special shout out to the Tundra Pub!

Loved the Northern Lights and the Churchill murals on buildings all over town. Tours we did take were excellent and well described. We were there in the wrong season for polar bears, Northern Lights were excellent. Take the time to visit the museums in town, they show great history of Churchill. Go for a walk around town. Be prepared for a small town atmosphere and very friendly people.

We went to see the polar bears (which we saw!)

We went to see the polar bears (which we saw!) and the northern lights (which we didn't see). We did a full day polar bear tour (not on a tundra buggy) and a half day City tour. We enjoyed both but really appreciated the City tour which taught us more about the community (very small, very north, very cold, very windy). We also visited the eskimo museum (which we had more time there) and walked around and got pictures of most of the murals. There is an ATM in town and the post office will give you an (ink) stamp in your passport. We bought some locally made jam - both with berries we had never heard of before. A really wonderful, memory making trip!) We'd love to return to see the beluga whales.

For the remote location and limitations available to the entire community, our stay at the Churchill Hotel was really good. From the time the owner, John, collected us at the airport, then actually took the time to drive us around for a short tour of the town, before dropping us at the hotel, through to our late departure, we were treated like valued guests. Meals were lovely, and they went out of their way to ensure as a person with coeliac disease, I was taken care of (even provided a separate toaster especially for me)

Breakfast was good, more than sufficient. The b&b was located in a quiet neighbourhood , not too far from the main boulevard. If I said it was not a romantic place this means nothing negative : Churchill is a subarctic town and has no palmtrees and exotic scenery. But it is very special and in this way you could call it exotic. We liked the friendliness and hospitality of TAYLOR, He is very dependable and thanks to him and his boat we were able to spot a polar bear even in low season.

Whilst this is on the edge of town, Churchill isn't that big, so it was only a short walk to everything we needed. Don, our host, couldn't do enough to help us. He was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for him, yet he also always gave us space and privacy. The place was immaculately clean and beds comfy. We were there for 8 days, so felt very at home by the end of our stay. Only 3 guest rooms with 2 bathrooms, so a great size.

Travelling to Churchill for work. The hotel is centrally located, a few steps from the store, train station and restaurants. Bill picked us all up from the airport and was so accommodating, communication was excellent. There was a great communal area. Rooms are simple but cosy and comfortable.

The best accommodation in Churchill! Not only did the host come to the station to pick us up due to the harsh weather, but the house was also exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated with various Churchill-themed items. I would 100% recommend staying here!
