From smelling the wood fires burning and salt air as soon as you arrive, to hearing the waves crashing on the beach, tasting the wonderful food, and taking in the beautiful scenery. We celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary there this weekend and spent our honeymoon there. It will forever hold a special place in our hearts. We fell asleep to the crashing waves and moonlight. Thank you for providing the best hospitality and the most comfortable beds during our stay.
We are looking forward to our next trip with our little doggie and an our fall getaway already booked.💕

CanadaMost of all, I liked our host's, Sydney and Sabastian's, care in filling any unforeseen need that we had, from lobster crackers to a choice of BBQ! They afforded total privacy yet they were available for help at any time.
The site and cottages were very clean, modern, and well-maintained. The view was great. The sound of the waves on the beach was soothing. Truly, a little piece of paradise!

CanadaEverything was so very thoughtfully laid out. The cottages are beautiful, with all amenities anyone could think of! The owners are so very kind and the staff are so friendly and warm. They provided paddleboards, kayaks, and SUPs to take advantage of the harbour and beach. We loved the proximity to Carter’s Beach, Keji Seaside, and White Point! An absolute dream stay- we will be back!!

CanadaThe owners were wonderful, the cabin was cozy the beds were really comfortable. The views outside of the ocean were second to none. Beautiful beach and very peaceful. We would return here for sure.

Loved this town and the beauty of the Mersey River.
Loved this town and the beauty of the Mersey River. We had rain and drizzle but we had an interesting day seeing the homes, the Hank Snow house, the Queens Museum, the Lighthouse, and especially eating croissants and coffee for breakfast and mussels for dinner from the exceptional chef at Main and Mersey. The haddock dinner at Lane’s Privateer was very well done and served by pleasant young ladies. NS wines are good too.

The place was advertised as 1 minute to the beach - it actually took 20 minutes by car.
The place was advertised as serving breakfast - if you wanted to have breakfast you had to go off property across the bridge to as small but very good independent restaurant.
The place was described as scenic - yes it was on the Mersey river but right on a main road and across the road from a working dockyard.
The photo of one of the rooms on your website looked bright and cheerful - ours was dark and dingy - if you closed the curtains when you were in your room it was dark and the only source apart from the light in the bathroom was one small bedside light on a bedside table.
The placed was a very dated dump.

Fantastic location. Amazing views out of every window. Felt remote yet only a short drive to Liverpool. Beautiful lodge, well equipped. Will definitely book again.
