Overall there was very little to disappoint about this brand new hotel. Facilities were very nice, rooms spacious, beds extremely comfortable and a decent size mini fridge with actual freezer compartment for ice paks.

Hotel site - reminiscent of Powell River's glory days. Owner is knowledgeable about the historical past of this pulp and paper mill Company Town. Location- in front of closed factory entrance with defunct pulp mill structures - is not necessarily picturesque, but is a good reminder of the reality of the rise and decline of economic undertakings. The Hotel is old but well cared for with recent renovations. Pluming, lights, shower, etc functioned well. Room clean and well appointed. Furniture and paintings in our room and throughout the hotel are appropriate to the period and interesting. Enough plugs for charging devices. In-room coffee and tea appreciated. Quiet over night; good location for visiting nearby Powell River tourist attractions and afterwards, Lund.

Loved this place and can’t wait to go back! The bath tub made this cabin in the woods luxurious - was a relaxing treat we didn’t expect. Host are absolutely lovely as was the welcome from the property guards 🐾

Beautiful cottage surrounded by lovely gardens. Kitchen had everything one would need. Beautifully decorated with original artwork. Spotlessly clean.

The property was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The room was spacious, and the kitchenette was very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. The location is also great and quiet.

Good location, just outside of the town but with wonderful views over the water Watched Orcas playing and Humpback whales on their migration route, from chairs on our balcony Good quality coffee and bathroom soap, shampoo etc
