United StatesGreat location everything was like new warm greeting from Leslie at the front desk and the two ladies that were on the next day were excellent. Also helping me with everything I needed. The breakfast was fine what you expect from a free buffet of eggs and meat and cereal and coffee and toast, etc..
Super location right on the Trans Canadian Highway, British Columbia one it’s a beautiful town Salmon arm has a great dock and I was there on Canada Day and there was a band playing on the Parc grounds, not far from the big dock that you could walk out and see the mountains in the lake. People were extra friendly.

Salmon Arm is a beautiful small town featuring a lovely...
Salmon Arm is a beautiful small town featuring a lovely wharf, several nice eateries, and nature trails. It is also close enough to Sicamous and Grindrod that access to the North Okanagan Rail Trail is easy. Take the bike ferry from Sicamous across to access the trail from the north.
I enjoyed Ricochet, Barley Station Brew Pub, and Chaing Mai Orchid.
Salmon Arm also features a sculpture that is touted as the world's largest Treble Clef.

We ate at the Barley Station BrewPub, just entering Salmon Arm on the right side, driving in from the west. It was a really good meal and the staff was great. We were just travelling through with an overnight stay.

We have never visited Salmon Arm before and enjoyed it...
We have never visited Salmon Arm before and enjoyed it thoroughly. There are some nice local places to eat including the Pink Cherry cafe - great Mocha Frappuccino, salads, and sandwiches. It is one of the best birding sites in BC. The trails and raised walkways along the marshland are fantastic spots for spotting birds. Watch for the beaver lodge alongside one of the trails.

Salmon Arm area is a nice place to visit.
Salmon Arm area is a nice place to visit. We were just passing through on our way to Abbotsford & Vancouver. It’s not a big place but there are a few adult restaurants & all the fast food places. We eat at the Barley Station for dinner & Blue Jays game. Getting around is easy if you are driving.

Salmon Arm's location at the end of Shuswap Lake is...
Salmon Arm's location at the end of Shuswap Lake is breathtaking on a clear fall day. The nature sanctuary walk along the lakeshore is a great way to experience the area.
Shopping downtown is varied, and there are multiple restaurants, coffee shops and gift shops to browse in.
Highway traffic right through Salmon Arm is a downside, but if you get off of the main road, you'll be rewarded with a lovely small town.

Nice sized smaller city with all the basics within a short distance. Right on the lake. Lots of fresh farm produce in season and relatively mild climate. Not as hot as the Okanagan usually, and more wet.

Good stay. Rooms were large, clean and practical. Breakfast was substantial and just what we needed to get us on the road again quickly. Only disappointing thing was the pool and hot tub closed for maintenance, but overall the hotel was good value for money, and perfect for our needs as a family of 4 with 2 small kids.

I really liked the view on the back of the hotel by the lake. The room was very comfortable , the large sofa to watch TV was great. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The location was with in walking distance of downtown and close to several good walks much appreciated. It was also distant from the highway traffic

This is a very welcoming hotel with friendly staff. The room we had was massive! It was clean. There is EV parking which was important to us. The breakfast was better than expected. There are some nice, quiet seating areas in the lobby which were perfect for family catch up! The staff were helpful.

Our children enjoyed the pool and the breakfast buffet was better than expected. The room was spacious and there is a short walking route from the Hotel, by Hyde Lake, that leads straight into the main downtown area of Salmon Arm. Parking was easy.

Linen and towels were clean and bed was comfortable.
