Your Host at Ackerview Guesthouse is Ria van Zeeland – Ria is the sole proprietor of Ackerview Guesthouse. She has lived and worked on farms all her life, and immigrated to Canada from The Netherlands in 1997. She is a retired Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) and in 2011 Ackerview Guesthouse opened its doors as a green care farm where guests experience a holistic caring approach within a home-like setting.
In 2025 Ria decided to transition Ackerview Guesthouse to a more traditional Bed & Breakfast service. She continues to offer warm hospitality while enjoying a little more free time while she is still active and healthy.
