Traveling from Vancouver to Banff. Very clean and extremely friendly staff/owner. All though unassuming, the rooms were nicely renovated with kitchenettes. Onsite brand new washer and dryers, bbq and picnic tables. Pool looked good, would have been perfect if we had kids along. They are pet friendly, we felt super welcome with our Bernadoodle. I would stay here a gain on our next trip. Eve

Great location everything was like new warm greeting from Leslie at the front desk and the two ladies that were on the next day were excellent. Also helping me with everything I needed. The breakfast was fine what you expect from a free buffet of eggs and meat and cereal and coffee and toast, etc.. Super location right on the Trans Canadian Highway, British Columbia one it’s a beautiful town Salmon arm has a great dock and I was there on Canada Day and there was a band playing on the Parc grounds, not far from the big dock that you could walk out and see the mountains in the lake. People were extra friendly.

Very comfortable feeling the moment we walked in: friendly check in; and very clean room with all amenities you expect in a hotel room. Good breakfast. Huge parking lot of the hotel. Close to a diner (Home Restaurant) and a supermarket.

What Guests Said About Sicamous:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.0

Sicamous is nice, but not in the winter.

Sicamous is nice, but not in the winter. It is dreary and wet due to its proximity to the lake. The bridge has been closed for the last two years and will remain to be closed for three more years is what I have been told. They’re doing heavy duty reconstruct. This requires you to drive all the way around through Enderby and that triples your length of time to get to Salmon arm. People in Sicamous are generally friendly with of course some exceptions. It’s a transient visitors town, like many other tourist attractions in Canada. Summer, of course would be the best time to go, but winter has the skidooing , which is very popular. Not my favourite town I’ve been in. Everything is very expensive. Hard to get ahead there.

We really enjoyed staying at this location, and the staff...

We really enjoyed staying at this location, and the staff was very helpful. The proximity to Tim Horton's is always good for Canadians and coffee lovers, yet the breakfast was good too. The best is the Hotel's proximity to Sushwap Lake. If you are coming with a family, especially kids who enjoy lake and water fun, then this is such a great find. We wish we were there for more days so we could rent a boat and enjoy the lake fun. The food became a concern as there are no good options of Thai, indian food. Also most places closed around 9 pm so we had to drive 30 minutes to get the food.

Just passing through on our trip from Victoria to Calgary, so no real sightseeing or other recreational activities. As we came in rather late, we just had a quick meal at Tim Hortons (so-so quality) and went to our room. Sicamous itself seems like a quaint peaceful town.

Sicamous is a lovely town in any season.

Sicamous is a lovely town in any season. Whether for the lake and camping in the warmer months, or the sledding and hot pools in the winter, Sicamous is a little gem with something to do for everyone.

I appreciated they had actual breakfast not bagged stuff we didn't want to eat. I was grateful to have a ground-floor room as we had to repack our car. Only lacked in quietness but that was guests above us and their dog not really hotels fault.

The proximity to restaurant and the water in sicamous is great and unbeatable! It was unfortunate all of Sicamous had a planned power outage from 7am-3pm so everything was closed, but they did give some warning at the motel.

This is our number one stay now from either travelling down to Kelowna or coming home. Beds are absolutely the best hotel beds I've ever slept on I would know I travel for work 80% the time. The breakfast was pretty good too.
