Amazing stuff and very friendly, the hotel is amazing also and very luxury, its designed by Japanese designer, very nice hotel for relaxing. And last thing the house keeping is really nice and they work as a team they clean every thing in less than half hour !

All of the staff at River House were welcoming and accommodating. I wanted a quiet and convenient place to stay over a short weekend in Andermatt for some hiking and I was very pleased with everything; from the sound of rushing water from my room window to the excellent breakfast and dinner I had. Highly recommend if you wanna stay in Andermatt close to the lifts! Great stuff they reserved parking for our big car and everybody was super friendly. Clean room and great breakfast skiroom all was great!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, , very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The location is absolutely perfect, situated directly opposite the ski lift, which makes it incredibly convenient for anyone coming to ski or enjoy the mountains. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff at the reception. The ladies were so kind, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Their friendliness and professionalism made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and outstanding service. I would definitely love to stay here again.

We enjoyed staying in the middle of the ski resort. We were able to be the first ones on the lift in the morning. Breakfast was nice and the staff was really friendly and helpful. I also liked that they gave us crocs to wear - I wish I had known that before.

Andermatt is a developing ski-town with investment from both Real Estate developers and Vail Ski Resorts. The ski infrastructure has seen significant investment over the last 4-5 years with upgraded lifts. The scenery is not as dramatic as some other alpine regions in height, but it has some charm and is easily navigated. A noticeable uplift in the volume of hotels & restaurants is expected across the next 3-5 years, which will bring some additional atmosphere to the evenings.

A very ski oriented town with a wide range of skiable areas.

A very ski oriented town with a wide range of skiable areas. Some of them requires bus/train ride to get to. The Epic pass doesn't include the train ride and some lifts close around 3:30. So plan well to make sure you can get back in time to take the lift down to the bottom.

The light in the bathroom is not bright enough to do makeup at the nice mirror provided. The noises from the restaurant below could be heard, but wasnt too loud. Garbage disposal was problematic and inconvient.

it is a great location to stay a few days and their facilities and staff were excellent. It was first hotel we had to pay for our parking on our trip around switzerland, which i feel there is no need to when you are a guest .

There are a lot of activities, but we only had a day. I did rent a fat bike and the trails are great for bikes. X country skiing & walking. Good variety of restaurants & relaxing. Beautiful area

We visited Andermatt at the very end of the summer season,...

We visited Andermatt at the very end of the summer season, in September. It was wonderful!!! No crowds anywhere but warm sunshine and cool clear air everywhere. We did excursions to the Furka Pass and up to the summit of the Gutsch mountain and the mountain beauty was staggering. There is also a lovely, mostly flat streamside foot trail up the valley for several miles, and we enjoyed walking amidst the cows......

The apartment was absolutely fantastic. The location was perfect – just a short walk to the cable car, the center of Andermatt, a shop, and the train station. It was especially great for families with children, as there were toys available and even a small play kitchen for kids. We also loved the terrace, which had an outdoor playground. We truly enjoyed our stay and didn’t miss anything – everything was just perfect.

The 300 year old building has been renovated and converted into a very charming and comfy hotel. The rooms retain the old stone and wood feel and look but are modern with look insulation, no creaking etc. We loved the view out of the window. The people are excellent too. They took care of all of our demands , with a smile. The hot breakfast dishes were prepared on order and were excellent. It was a memorable stay.
