The owners were fantastic here, we arrived on a cold day and they straight away sat us down and gave us a hot coffee to warm up. Everyone during our stay were so nice. Really friendly place with an amazing location and view.

Lovely old building right on the river, great parking for our bikes, air conditioning was a bonus, bed was comfy. Hotel is a mix of old and new, bathroom was modern and worked beautifully. Very nice location

Walk to old town along footpath was picturesque.

Walk to old town along footpath was picturesque. Walk to Diessenhofen then return with boat was delightful - the bridge crossing to Germany merits a visit and great food immediately behind the Boat Station. Of course the medieval building in Stein am Rhein are astonishing - and visit to St George Museum was very interesting (if you like historical places).
