Simply everything, especially the staff, the experience, the view, cleanliness and the restaurant downstairs. Actually one of the best hotels I have ever visited.

While it wasn’t walkable it was private quiet and lovely. Very nice balconies and facilities. Booked the jacuzzi every night. Great view sauna was awesome. Jacuzzi didn’t get hot enough though. I’m very sensitive to noise and I slept peacefully, perfect private backyard to enjoy morning coffee and yoga

Smelled great! Made to order breakfast. Hot shower. Comfortable bed. Very pretty. Lots of different plants and birds. Good location. Friendly staff.

The staff is very friendly, always ready to help, welcoming and knowledgeable, the location is perfect! Close to the airport and the the center; the hotel provides taxi services at very good cost and safe.

All! Especially the staff Front Desk: Paola and Pol and Christian went above and beyond to take care of the tinniest details. Isa, Estephania and Maurylyn were there daily at the in house restaurant that served a wide variety of tasty, super healthy and bargain price meals. The rooftop terrace with pool, full gym, bbq and game room were so convenient! And all for a bargain price.

The area it’s in, you feel safe as a group of women only and it’s near a mall that’s a plus. They even gave my daughter a token of appreciation on her birthday.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Portón Medellín. The service was exceptional from the moment I arrived. Paula at the reception was always attentive, caring, and very professional, making sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. Luis was also amazing — he always had a great smile on his face and was very friendly. He gave us excellent recommendations on places to visit and made every conversation enjoyable. The staff truly made the experience memorable, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Medellín!

Location is in el Poblado, 10 minutes walk from the busy area in calle 10,which for us it was perfect. Its very authentic hotel and people working there. The room is ok size, but very clean and everything is functional. Near the place there's a big shopping mall. In general it is worth the money for the accommodation and service that you get.
