Perfect location for exploring Volcan Irazú. The hostess and owner were very responsive with questions and concerns. The house has heaters to take the chill off, and the kitchen was well stocked for preparing meals there. The beautiful view and friendly people, birds, dogs, cows and goats were a bonus.

The surroundings and cabina were beautiful and clean! The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Free breakfast was incredible! We had the pancakes, best ever, and the omelet. Also yummy!

We were made very welcome, and loved the ECO ethos. The photos don't do the cabins and bathrooms justice as they are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Stunning views and beautiful gardens. Really nice breakfast from produce grown on site and a great place for star gazing.

The location is close to Vulcan Irazu, making it very convenient to get to and from the park. The cabin is nicely laid out and comfortable. The kitchen facilities are basic, but we were only there to sleep and set out for exploration, so we weren't preparing our meals there. The cabin has a loft that has ladder-like stairs to get up to it, so it is not for those with mobility issues, and families with young children need to be cautioned. The owners were extremely warm and welcoming. They couldn't have been more hospitable
