Everything was great, family business running their Lodge with so much love. They were very welcoming and flexible to accommodate us. Our stay was fabulous, we saw sloths in the forest right next to our room and heard the forest night life, fabulous experience! We had everything we needed for our night there, highly recommended! Loved our stay! The place is wonderfully quiet and truly makes you feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle. We especially enjoyed connecting with the local family, having meaningful conversations, and learning a lot about Costa Rican life. We really appreciated our connection with Leidi and Jo and meeting their two lovely young daughters. Leidi is very experienced and knowledgeable about tourism in Costa Rica and gave us great advice on places to visit. Breakfast was simple and tasty, with different options to choose from. Breakfasts and coffee were freshly made and were brought right to our bungalow every morning. Great experience!

The place is marvelous, almost inside the rainforest reserve. Marcella and Fabio made our stay memorable, and gave us super useful information about the surroundings and how to explore Chidren's eternal rainforest reserve. I'd recommend to stay as long as possible, as this place is magical, full of peace, calm. Birdwatching (and Sloth watching!) during the breakfast time is something you'll never forget.

This is one of those special places in the world—and unfortunately, there are not so many—that delights your senses, fills your heart, and feeds your soul. I don’t even have words to describe the few days I spent at Cecropia other than to say: Don’t hesitate to book here. The food, the conversations, the jungle, the night walk.. all was the highlight of my time in Costa Rica. Cecropia is a place to be experienced, not checked off a list. Lying in bed listening to rain pound the roof. Hiking up to the wooden observatory to do morning yoga. Watching the birds flock to the feeders as you eat an absolutely delicious breakfast. I will never forget my time at Cecropia.
