Everything was standard but functional & diligent. I even liked the hotel more than some 4 stars

Located in the town part Zellerfeld, very centrally. On thursdays in summer there's a well-known market nearby. Rooms are big, beds are comfortable, staff is really nice. There's the good restaurant on site.

Little hotel, not the fancy place, but so full of small little details that make you smile, from the amazing staff and attention to how breakfast and dinner are served. Comfy clean rooms, amazing lake views and delicious food. - The breakfast: small variety but tasting great, served in a great way and with a lot of attention from the staff - The young team of staff during afternoon-evening shift: Super nice, attentive and friendly. you are amazing, thanks a lot! - The restaurant chef during dinner is a master and the food was great. - The Fireplace-common room is a gem! With all sorts of drinks and amazing atmosphere it was a haven! We were there during spring but I believe in cold winters with a lot of snow it should be magical as well.

Everything in this place was top notch. The place feels new and is very clean and comfortable. We booked the family room on the first floor for two couples and had a spare small bedroom for two kids if we'd bought them. Nice kitchen and living space but not bigwe spent 3 nights. Everything provided for to cook your own meals just go shopping before. It's all in a quiet area and if you prefer a chalet you can also book that. There's a town with all facilities about seven minutes away by car. Breakfast is the ordinary German hotel breakfast with cold cuts breads some pastries scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs a few sweet items etc. Staff are helpful and sweet very easy to deal with. There is a walking area above the property that gives you a view over the small town and rural area.

The host was very friendly, and the price was very competitive for a place that offered a delicious breakfast.

The location is unbeatable right in the center of town overlooking the lake, with easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the church. The lady who runs the place is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond for her guests. The hotel has a beautiful old world charm, like a place that time forgot in the best possible way and the prices feel like they haven’t moved either. Probably the best value I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Harz region.
