We stayed with our toddler, we got a nice baby cot, very comfy. In the restaurant there are baby chairs and he even got small cutlery! There was only one photo of the room so we weren't sure what to expect of it and the room was exceptional! Very big, lovely view of the lake.

There was a misunderstanding about our booking, which the host solved by putting us in a nearby studio apartment also managed by the hotel. The apartment was very quiet, a bit away from the road, and very comfortable. The floor was very nice, not carpeted. Breakfast was very good.

We spent a week sailing a small charter boat rented from the sailing school of Ludwigshafen. We stayed in hotels before and after sailing, and rented bicycles one day to explore Ṻberlingen, about 10 km away, where there is a beautiful botanical garden. Bodman-Ludwigshafen was a very nice base for our activities.

The lake is beautiful with many locations for swimming, many hikes start right from here without having to get into a car, the tourist board gives out free cards for use of tram and bus and some museums and castles as well as a free one-hour boat tour of part of the lake.

Bodman-Ludwigshafen is a village of about 3000 people with a long Lake promenade where you can also go swimming right off the promenade without having to pay. There are different restaurants, many walking routes right out of the village. The small train is convenient right in the village we’re you can get around easily and for free if you get 2 visitors passes from your host. They are also valid for buses and some venues as in museums and castles. The village seems to do a lot to reduce, reuse, recycle ♻️ The views are beautiful and the distance to Austria, Lichtenstein, and Switzerland are short. I love it here.

Serine location with an incredible view of the Bodensee. The room was extremely spacious, luxurious, and not left wanting in any way. The breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly and having secure underground parking is a good bonus. The hotel is located within a few meters of the Bodensee itself, good restaurants, as well as some great hiking trails where you can see some ancient ruins.

Location near Bodensee. The name of the city that has been the main reason why we choose to stay there. Hiking pathways close to the hotel. Easy to go eating in some good restaurants. Warm welcome. Should we have need help, the boss reach it, so very helpful person. A nice bakery close to the hotel and a shop with looots of very local treats, foods, beverages.

The hotel was a bit basic, no air conditioning or fan and it was so hot. There was drinks in a fridge on the landing to pay for which was welcome as the restaurant was closed. The breakfast was very good and lovely view of the lake. The staff were friendly, only a couple of staff, it was quite quiet. Nice position by the lake. Take your swimwear!
