We have friends living in Gemunden so we have stayed there for the past ten years. Train station and public transport enable you to travel to the We love the historic square and buildings. Lots of excellent restaurants and cafes. Quiet in the Winter but has a tremendous buzz during the Summer months.

A very warm and helpful greeting from the proprietor. It's always preferable to deal with a real person when checking in but this was even more welcoming. Clean, modern, well equipped room. We were at the rear of the hotel and there was no disturbance from passing trains. Safe secure storage for our bikes. Generous healthy breakfast with local fruit and produce. Hot drinks available. Excellent shower. Good location for cycle touring along the Mainradweg cycle path

The hotel is located very close to the railway station and 10 min walk from the old center. There is also parking place. The room was OK, clean and with everything you need. Inside the hotel there was also a very nice restaurant. Very friendly personnel.
