While not the easiest place to find once found it was wonderful! Do not count on Google Maps or any other navigation means to get you there! The hotel itself was very, very nice! Extremely clean and both tastefully designed and furnished! Our balcony view was of a small vineyard in front of the local church and out our large side window was a beautiful view of Lake Constance. Associated with (ownedby) the hotel is Gruper Tropfen a restaurant right across the street from the hotel. GT is well manned by Nico who was an absolute delight. He is friendly, courteous, well spoken, knowledgeable and extremely personable. Hopefully hotel management appreciates what an amazing asset he is to their business! The food was quite good at the restaurant and we ended up dining there both of the evenings of our stay! The shores of Lake Constance are a very short walk away and bordered by a lovely park! If I went this way again in my travels I’d look no further than Hagnau am Bodenseehotel Renn!

My recent stay at Hotel DreiKönig & Restaurant SeeGourmet was absolutely delightful. The room was cozy and comfortable, and the host and staff were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit. The breakfast was generous, offering a wide array of delicious options to start the day. We also had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant and trying their specialty dish, which exceeded our expectations. Furthermore, the cocktail I ordered was a delightful surprise – although its ingredients remain a mystery to me, it was undeniably delicious. Overall, our experience at Hotel DreiKönig & Restaurant SeeGourmet was superb. Thank you for providing such exceptional service and hospitality. We look forward to returning in the future!

Sonja and Leonie are absolutely the most amazing hosts and wonderful people. Their warmth and friendliness is second to none and their attention to every single detail is amazing and really made our stay just amazing! Everywhere you look, it is the fine details where they go so far above and beyond that made our stay so spectacular! The mini-flower vases served with breakfast, the clean and well decorated and extremely comfortable room, candles on the deck, well-appointed and intimate social rooms and common areas, the list goes on!!!!! Great location too! You really cannot beat this property and the owners!

Hagnau is a beautiful community with wonderful architecture...

Hagnau is a beautiful community with wonderful architecture and gently sloping streets. We felt very safe as we walked the streets. There were many restaurants to choose from. There were opportunities to go to the park, where there were several activities to choose from. There was a wonderful winery with wine tasting within walking distance. The countryside around Hagnau is beautiful also.

If you get one of the rooms with a balcony and views of Lake...

If you get one of the rooms with a balcony and views of Lake Konstanz (which we didn't as we got the very last room available on the night we stayed) I cannot think of anywhere else I would rather stay. It is a lovely hotel, with friendly owners and staff, great facilities and a good location - just a gentle 5 minute walk to the Lake.

I was a great location.

I was a great location. Loved that it had a designated parking spot. Also a bonus was the tourist card. I wish I was there longer to take advantage of using is on the train & buses. I did take the bus to Meersburg. This way I didn't need to worry about finding my way & parking. The staff that was there for check in was very helpful & made list last minute trip enjoyable. The breakfast spread was the best I had on my trip. And it was presented well. I hope to get back to that are & will definitely try to find a room there.

The heart of the village is mainly pedestrian/cycles only.

The heart of the village is mainly pedestrian/cycles only. There are many good restaurants to choose from. You can rent motor boats to take out on the lake, or swim in the crystal clear water from the many “beaches”. The sunset was beautiful to watch from the end of the little harbour wall.

The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. There was a secure bike shed (with charging point) for our e-bikes and a parking space for our car. The terrace with its beautiful gardens was a real bonus and made the holiday for us. Hagnau is a lovely little town and an excellent base for exploring the best bits of the Bodensee cycle route. The nearby Pizzeria Bar Centrale was a firm favourite. We are already planning to come back!

Perfectly furnished and equipped apartments. Quite. Excellent location for car trips, cycling and hiking. Bus stop, grocery shop and cycling route, all are in 2 minutes. Private parking. Excellent garage for bikes. Own schnapps store. :) Excellent communication with owners. It was most pleasant stay on Bodensee for us.

Very smooth check-in and instructions, so you can arrive stress-free at any time. We had a room at the back of the building off the main road but not much of a view. It's a short walk down to the Lake in Hagnau which has excellent restaurants and cafes and wine sellers.

Small but nice hotel with nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff, the restaurant is really good, you should try the steaks, they are excellent. Breakfast is also very nice.
