Everything. The room was spacious and had both: shower cabin and bath tub. Location is great. 10 mins walk to the castle. The bed is comfortable.

A beautifully kept, historic, centrally located property, with a deeply personal connection, for me.. My mother painted this area from a calendar photo, 60 yrs ago. This was my first visit. The village is nearly unchanged. The hotel’s owner’s suite is in the corner of the painting. It’s now painted yellow, the balcony was replaced.

We were looking for an authentic, mediaeval-castle experience: Burg Harburg delivered. * We slept in an authentic castle!! What a great experience to wake up, look out the window, and feel like you woke up in a mediaeval dream. My adult daughter *loved* it. * On the inside: you're able to explore some of the castle on your own, and see almost all of it with the guided tour. * On the outside: we walked (hiked) all the way around the entire castle, and followed the trail leading down to Harburg town. * Breakfast was a simple buffet with a decent selection and made-to-order eggs. * The rooms were comfortable (and, gratefully, *not* mediaeval). My family all agreed: our stay at Burg Harburg overshadowed our stay at Burg Colmberg; the latter was a "hotel in an impressive castle", but Harburg was an "impressive castle experience with a hotel". One note: we stayed here in early May, well before peak season -- there were only a few other guests.

Hosts were absolutely fantastic. Nice quiet spot to recharge!

Clean and cozy place with good breakfast. I totally recommend it.

Bike friendly, great staff, amazing food!!!

The facilities were very nice - an charming old building that has been nicely renovated. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For one day, we asked for a snack outside breakfast hours as we had an early appointment, and we received a delicious breakfast to-go. The hotel is located perfectly - only a few minutes walk to the train station, as well as to the centre of Donauwörth.

Location, clean comfortable room and bed. Great shower. Cool and quiet with the window open at night. No air conditioning but there is a fan in the room if needed. Fabulous breakfast - they are associated with the Italian restaurant next door- with 2 hot beverages offered and kind excellent staff at breakfast and reception. Garage to keep bikes safely locked.

We arrived a little early and they were very accommodating. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thankful they had a secure place to store our bicycles. The room and bed are very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent with many items to choose from. Centrally located to town, I would definitely stay again.
