Loved the location and the offered amenities. The staff is bilingual (English/German) and extremely courteous. The hotel offers the typical German breakfast and has a full restaurant that caters lunch and dinner with exceptional local dishes. Menu is in German but nothing that Google translate can’t help with.

The property is sophisticated, comfortable, well maintained, and quiet. It is located within and above the local town, but it is also very quiet and secure. It also includes secure parking in the dry castle moat. However, you can drop your bags off at the entrance to the castle which also includes an elevator. The reception and restaurant staff were very courteous and efficient. The room itself was very spacious, clean and included a panoramic view of the surrounding river, valley and hills. The breakfast buffet included an amazing selection of savoury and sweet offerings. This is an exceptional property.

This castle was amazing!!!! It’s something to say to people that you stayed in a castle from the 1200s!!!! There’s not enough adjectives to describe it. The views from your window is amazing. The grounds are well maintained that you can walk on with many flowers. You can also hike into the surrounding forest which was so nice. If you can get the only room with a balcony, get it. The view is worth it. The staff were very friendly and we got to know one of the owners a bit and she was super nice. This is THE BEST place to say in Obrigheim.

With its location in the Neckar valley, just North of Heilbronn, it's an excellent starting point for various round trips around. Some of the beautiful, romantic castles can even be seen from a single place in town. Burg Hornberg and Guttenberg, Schloss Horneck and Bad Wimpfen can all be visited on a 40-km, one-day round trip but several other places of interes are also accessible easily in the valley and nearby.

The hotel is in a lovely position close to the river. The owners are very friendly, the food is excellent and the room very good, even though we were a little sad to be at the rear of the building. There is a super museum close by at Sinsheim.
