Everything was great and exceeded our expectations. the views from our window were spectacular and the staff was very attentive, good to talk and look care of all the little details. Its great if you are travelling with a child, because they have lots of books, games and toys to keep them entertained along with a garden with a treehouse and swings!

Kappelrodeck is beautiful and not too touristy.

Kappelrodeck is beautiful and not too touristy. I could imagine living here to be honest! Nice selection of restaurants and a beautiful little konditorie. The people were super nice and friendly, no matter where we went and it is a fabulous home base to then go out and explore the area on hikes through the forests and vineyards. A must visit is the Zuckerbergschloss cafe/restaurant, which became one of our fave places to go. The Wine from the Hex Von Dasenstein winery is also excellent and well worth a visit to taste what they have on offer.

The apartment was very spacious and had an absolutely stunning view over to the west, over the vineyards and the village. The terrace (south) and balcony (west) were fantastic and the kitchen had everything we needed. We brought our racing bikes with us, and the hostess offered us to stall them in their personal garage. And about the location: we came for biking and hiking and we were not disappointed. Kappelrodeck is surrounded by vineyards, orchards and of course the Schwarzwald. We will definitely visit again.

This was a one night stay before continuing further into Schwartzwald. The hotel was nice and clean, with included outdoor parking. We made our trip during a slower November season so we were the only ones when checked-in. The rooms were modern. The floor included a separate kitchen with a kettle and cups that we used to make tea. After checkout the next day, we took a walk around town and enjoyed some cake and pastries at a bakery less than a mile down the street. Overall, a great stay at a fantastic price.

Excellent hotel. Superb service with a smile. Great food. Clean and very comfortable. A stunning building in a beautiful area. Couldn't be better AND at less than half the cost of other hotels we have stayed in. We stayed here last year too and would highly recommended it.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, very immersive, and the town is very calm and cosy and has some great hiking options. Also lovely personal touches such as handwritten signs at breakfast.

Looking for an overnight stay on a motorcycle tour, Hotel Prinzen was a great find. Good communication upon booking, warm welcome from reception. The breakfast was excellent.
