Great for families, bicyclists, hikers.
Great for families, bicyclists, hikers. I loved it that this property had a bicycle shed that you can lock. So many great bike paths all around.
Hop on and off the public transportation by train or bus or ferry. Your Langenargen guest card gets you on all the regional traffic for free. Day trips are super easy. Don't miss a day or two in picturesque Lindau. Oh the whole area is just beautiful!
No night-life to speak of, so for late-night party-goers, you'll have to check out Friedrichshafen or ask the local youth (don't drink & drive, German driving laws are very strict, the small country roads are narrow).

Nice village situated in the lake.
Nice village situated in the lake. Many shops in the center. nice walking around the lake. Nice castle with the restaurant(renovation works currently on the facade). Nice bakery opposite the ex-monastery (opened early on Saturday). Convenient shopping area at the edge of the village.

Small and cozy town located between Lindau and...
Small and cozy town located between Lindau and Friedrichshafen. The town has good train connections which is 10 minutes far from the hotel and approximately 30 minutes by train to Friedrichshafen and also Lindau.
The town has nice restautants which require reservation days before and also a historical watch tower from the middle ages.

Easy to get to , train , bus and ferry services connecting town. Using public transport on travels , the Bondensee card offered by accommodation most helpful ( you do pay for it indirectly as properties charge a city tourist tax)
Lots of different types of food options available and a couple of supermarkets ( name brand and bio places).
Went to nearby marinas. Amazing places , huge , also had shops and a flash looking restaurant. Great walking and bike tracks from here along lake , towards next town. Found lots of nice spots to sit by lake or swim. Stopped at a little place under shady trees , few beverages and a meal.

We have stayed at Langenargen several times normally with...
We have stayed at Langenargen several times normally with some friends but this time we were alone and walked about, finding things we didn't know were there before!
We ate at several places but our favourite was Gaststätte Krone (which I recall visiting twice this trip alone and in previous years too). It was not too far from were we stayed

I thought the hotel was excellent. Friendly staff (especially Manuel on the front desk). Bedroom and bathroom were excellent and the breakfast was delicious. The location of the hotel was well placed to the town and the lake.

The wellness was really great and appreciate the hotel provide long opening hours, so one could walk in and out as they like. I liked the location of the hotel, quite and peaceful country, but not far away from towns.
