plan your visit with the wineries and vineyard owners in mind, as there are many small villages which can be reached by train or bicycle . They all have wine festivals at different times of the year and are great to go too and free apart from the Delicious wine. If you can get to go to Otto Dill art gallery that very nice to visit , Hambach Schloss is a castle on the hill its the home to the foundation of Deutschland democracy and has a brilliant museum and cafe with views. the town has some very old buildings some going back to 1368 and great art work such as water fountains , busts-of the two lovers johann and kunigunde which has a very interesting legend attached. a stream to dip your feet in during hot days and loads of shops to visit.

The Achat Hotel is awesome in every way, the location is...

The Achat Hotel is awesome in every way, the location is just 2 minutes walk from the train station and the bus station. You have almost everything around, shops, restaurants, church, post office, etc. The staff are fantastic, they speak English and patiently listen to their clients, they give you all information you request for to visit the village. I highly recommend this hotel, it is also very neat. I will suggest that they should add electric kettle and coffee mugs in the rooms though I think I was told that there was a coffee machine somewhere but I didn't search for it, I prefer having tea or coffee in my room whenever I want without going out to get some. Apart from that, I so much love the Achat hotel at Neustadt an winestrasse

The location and especially the view were very good. Many thanks to Muhammed at the reception made the reservation and helped us, especially when we arrived at the hotel in the evening. And many thanx and the next morning to reception a Macedonian gentleman whose name I cannot remember They are very helpful. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to everyone.

Beds were perfect, but I did miss an additional pillow. The bathroom needs some refreshing. Shower instead of tub would be appreciated. The hotel adverts parking. We did arrive at 19.10 and got the virtually last spare patking spot in the garage. The breakfast is very good, with local sparkling wine includec.

The hotel is a bit outside, but well located. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast on the terrace is a plus and is very good. The room is very clean, during our stay, it was very hot. There is a fan, but for some people it is not enough. In the evening, people talk loudly and it is allowed until 11:00 p.m.

The hotel is very beautiful and all the room are extremely clean and comfortable. Food at the restaurant, both at dinner and breakfast was fantastic with local specialities available. The staff had been super friendly and they helped and accommodated us with anything we needed.

Stayed here before. Rooms are modern and quiet. The brekfast is very good: freshly prepared eggs and fresh orange juice. The hotel is 10 minutes walking from the town center, and opposite the train station. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel.
