A cozy hotel, just like the town itself, which we came to visit on the recommendation of our relatives. The service was top-notch – we received a local map, advice on where to go, and a warm welcome. The balcony of our room opened to a magnificent view of the mountains. All attractions were within walking distance. Highly recommended.

It's a nice place to vacation.

It's a nice place to vacation. There are different ways to have fun depending on everyone's taste. Long or short hikes can be made, there is a swimming pool, golf course, Bavarian and Italian restaurants. I recommend Hexen Stüber'l for gourmets. For children there are outdoor and indoor playgrounds. Garmisch Partenkirchen is a maximum of 10 minutes away by train

Cosy place in Oberau a short walk from a Biergarten and some other restaurants. Rooms are spacious and Anca, the hostess, is a true gem. Breakfast offers what you need for a great start of the day. The surroundings offer plenty of different activities for all ages and preferences. Easy to park outside the house and if you arrive when noone is there to greet you, a friendly instruction will be posted on the door. Have been a returning guest for years and hope to return again in the future.

I liked how it was close to the Oberau railway station — everything was within walking distance. I also appreciated the facilities provided; everything I needed was included. I especially liked the coffee machine.

Hotel located in calm area. But very near to Ettal abbey (went to Intenationale sommerakademie - ausome 5h lasting concerts !!!), only 1h from München. Room cosy.
