Beautiful property and lovely hosts! Rose and Ulrich made us feel so welcome and at home. The food was some of the best we’ve had on our trip through Germany and France. We loved our stay so much we extended for a second night. Thank you for such a lovely experience!!

The location was perfectly centered in the town, with lots of engaging history and community to learn about. Many good places to eat nearby. Katrin was a most wonderful hostess. She made it easy and comfortable.

Absolutely gorgeous property! Wonderful staff, so helpful and responsive to our questions. We got a little lost and they were quick to help us. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and we truly felt welcome.

I’m on a 20 day roadtrip around Europe and booked hotels for one night in each city I end up at night and this was hands down the best Everyone was attentive and polite The restaurant’s both dinner and breakfast were great The parking is easy and specious The room was super clean and nice The area is beautiful If I ever go back to that side of Germany I’d love to stay there again

Location was beautiful. In the base of the mountains and close the Schramberg is fantastic.

We stayed in a chalet with two bedrooms – everything was new, spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, breakfast delivered to the room was excellent, and the pools were perfect for a relaxing dip at the end of the day.

Breakfast was delicious. Host Oona was able to accommodate food restrictions (I'm allergic to pepper), and provided an incredibly ample breakfast. The eggs were fresh from her chickens. The property and rooms were quite lovely. She spoke English for us, which was nice as none of us really speak German. We were traveling with medication that needed to be kept cold, and while there was no fridge / freezer in the rooms, they were able to keep our things in their fridge and freezer, so that was nice. We booked 2 rooms for 3 people (2 adults and a teenager). I had asked that we have rooms close together, and they gave us rooms across the hall from each other, so that was perfect. We had requested extra blankets and pillows, which were provided and pointed out when we arrived. The rooms were clean and well accommodated. The double room had a small table and chairs; no additional seating in the single room. Both had places to put clothing, though we didn't utilize them as we were only staying for 1 night. In the morning, there were church bells, which were quite lovely to hear, though early (7 am, I think?). I'm a light sleeper, and they woke me up. My husband and son are both heavy sleepers, and neither of them woke up. It wasn't really bothersome to me, but just something to be aware of. The rooms also had roll-down blinds, so were easily able to be made nearly 100% dark (a little light seepage, but not much). The property was well-kept and clean. Parking is ample, and secured (there's a gate). We stayed in a room on the first floor, and it seems like most of the rooms (if not all) are up a single flight of stairs. There appeared to maybe be some rooms on the garden level, but even they had a single step into them (i.e. accessibility for those who are mobility impaired might be an issue, as is common in this type of accommodation).

A nice clean room. Automatic check-in with everything just works. Great breakfast. Ample parking spaces.

We enjoyed the historic building with updated electrical and bathroom. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our dinner was delicious with lots of atmosphere, candle, flowers on the table. Warm wood decor. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds and linens.
