This was in the town my mother biked to from Brandenburg in May 1945 to flee the Russians at the end of WWII. There are only 6 rooms, and everything was originally, charming and comfortable. Service was personalized and attentive. A really special stay.

This will be my #1 choice when traveling from Stockholm to the south. Had an absolutely solid experience: clean room of a decent size, no unwanted sounds - properly quiet, blackout curtains on large windows, so I had fantastic sleep. Absolutely smooth experience in all interactions with staff. All of that already deserves 10, but then there was a restaurant! The first thing you'll notice in the restaurant is that there are suspiciously many locals there, even though the hotel is quite remotely located. Then, after you get the food you ordered, you understand why: the food is absolutely fantastic. Literally, I was (and still is) sorry that I don't live somewhere nearby to visit the restaurant frequently. A true gem ruled by a true Master! I'm very thankful for the great supper I had there.

This hotel was perfect on the 'ostsee'. Lots of restaurant to choose. Very cosy town. We had a perfect dinner the first evening before we travelled further to Kopenhagen. The breakfast was amazing.
