I LOVE this hotel. I’ve used it for over six years when I am In town. Great value, great rooms the own Johnathan cares a lot , as does his staff. Also , the Saturday street fairs is right outside your door and plaza pancho is a 4 minute walk, the nice Bolivar Square is a 3 minute walk

Hotel is brand new and it was clean. Great breakfast and location, 3 blocks from plaza de ponchos. Friendly Staff, they even offered a dessert as courtesy.

The property is beautiful, quiet, and private, an oasis. Online photos did not do the property justice. Staff were friendly and helpful at every encounter. Each evening, they lit a fire in our room and placed a hot water bottle between the sheets to warm our bed. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The hotel property is gorgeous and delightful to walk around and see the large organic garden, monastery, and landscaped grounds. There are also a range of hiking trails/options directly from the hotel. Easy driving distance to Otavalo, Condor Park, Laguna Cuicocha, etc.

I love so much about this place! Sweet Dutch owners, amazingly friendly and efficient staff, cozy room, the hottest shower in Ecuador, great location near the main square, incredible food in the restaurant downstairs! I extended my stay and every meal was delicious! Explored the area with their driver Don Luis, took daily Spanish lessons with Christian of Only Way Global. Love it here.

Unique and. Beautiful property.

The facilities are absolutely beautiful. The restoration of the building was done artfully. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast was well done with gòod variety. I

The suite was spacious and very comfortable. We had a pleasant, relaxing stay. The breakfast was great. The garden is beautiful. The staff were kind and helpful. It's close enough to downtown to be convenient but tucked away enough to be quiet. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay at La Posada del Quinde again. Thank you!

The food was extraordinary! They have some unique dishes made from local products that you won't find anywhere else. The staff is kind and very helpful. The room has a wonderful view of the lake and the town, specially at night.

The peacock garden is such a unique experience. We loved the different areas to eat meals - breakfast in a cozy cottage building overlooking the peacock garden, and lunch and dinner in a different beautiful building overlooking the garden. The staff went above and beyond to assist us when our luggage was delayed. Each night we returned to our room to find turndown service and a fire crackling in the hearth. We stayed at 4 different accommodations during the course of our 10-day tour of Ecuador and Galapagos and this was hands down our favorite. If we find ourselves in Ecuador again in the future, we would go out of our way to stay here again.

The breakfast that was included was made fresh when arrived. It was absolutely delicious!
