Luis Alfonso was very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was modern and spotless and we loved being able to do our laundry after our long camino walk. We had use of a well supplied kitchen and a patio out back.

Friendly man checked us in. Spacious room. Quiet room (a Saturday in early March). Warm shower and heating. Nice area outside all the rooms to meet with other bikers and hikers. Our room had a refrigerator, yay!

We loved staying at Ganadería Virgen María. This is a cattle ranch, where they raise the mighty toros bravos. If you’re into the ranch lifestyle, then you’ll absolutely love it here. It is peaceful, the food delicious, very family-style. The hosts, Irene and her parents, are generous and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back.
