This a very nice, elegant and well located hotel, which is not a part of a chain and it’s managed by its owners, who make you feel at home. From there you can drive to Malaga, Sevilla, Marbella and other places without having to pay the expensive hotel fees of those cities. Antequera itself is a small but very interesting town, which has historic places and Los Dólmenes, a megalithic structure that caused this town to be considered a Patrimony of the Humanity by the UNESCO

Lots of interesting buildings, churches etc but you need good knees and ankles as there is a lot of going up hill. Though this is a busy place the traffic tends to be quiet with hardly any horns blasting.

Antequera is a charming town in Andalucia that is warm and inviting. My wife and I were treated well and enjoyed getting acquainted with some of the locals during our stay. It's perfectly situated for day trips to Cordoba, Malaga and Granada. My experience in Andalucia is that parking can be challenging and that is also true of Antequera. If you're in relativley good health and don't mind walking it's a great way to get around town.

The two walks we did in the surrounding countryside, one was the SL A 51 las Arquillas and the other was Pinar del Hacho. Great views of the city and surrounding mountains. It was a shame there is no public transport to Parque Natural Torcal. Lots of tapas bars and cafes to chose from.

It was a short visit (4 days) and my first time visiting Antequera and the surrounding areas with a view to moving to the Andalucia area in the near future. Antequera has a lovely feel about it and was perfect as a base to explore other areas.

We had a lovely day in Malaga watching flamenco.
The Gross vineyard was very worthwhile and the wines pretty spot on.
Antequera town is also worth a stroll especially the dolmans which are older than Stonehenge!

location, room, pool, everything was great the room was kept spotless, every day, and the view was great, to, plus mini bar/fridge was stocked each day , and was free!!!, also tea/coffee making in room, what more could you want from a really good priced hotel in the middle of a beautiful town, in Spain ?
We had meals out as you could eat breakfast and dinner nearby, in some nice restaurants, so we can't comment on the breakfast etc.
Also plenty of FREE parking a few minutes from hotel.

The size of the room was large, there was plenty of storage and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. There was s restaurant downstairs and the location was central for everything we needed.
This was the best value room we have found in Spain.

HUGE house that can fit up to 7 people. Stunning, new repair. Everything you need in one place including olive oil and washing machine with washing fluid. I LOVE Spain for such a houses and THANK the host for attention to every detail!!
