Everyone we met, from the woman who checked us in to the man who so nicely carried coffee up to our room from the restaurant, was so friendly and seemed genuinely happy we were there. The people at the restaurant next door were equally as friendly and very helpful with the menu. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room and there was a lovely terrace overlooking a stream. Everything seemed like it had been recently updated and the shower was awesome (a marker of a decent place to stay in my opinion!). We would recommend staying here and would return!

This was one of my favourite places I have ever stayed. Our bedroom was beautiful, clean and had a very comfortable bed. The views out the window of the farm animals and mountains was spectacular. It was quiet and the owners seemed so lovely and attentive. Our room was also cleaned everyday which was an unexpected bonus! I would have stayed here for months on end if I could and I will definitely be back!

Just right for a quiet mountain getaway that feels like home. The kitchenette was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere was incredibly charming and hospitable, and most especially our sweet hostess Begoña, who was a wonderful conversationalist (even though our Spanish is not strong) and checked on us out of concern when we came back late ❤️. Perfect launching point for exploring Picos de Europa, and even made a daytrip to Bilbao. The stay was so restful and quiet, it was the perfect time for my wife and I to get away and relax.

Location!!! The breakfast was fantastic. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Towels were changed daily. We will be back for sure and will be recommending to our friends.

Everything about this hotel is simple and fully satisfying. The floors, walls, and furniture all seem fairly new, and everything is kept spotlessly clean. The decor is simple and fitting. The food is simple, good, and filling. Best of all, the affable proprietor was ready with useful information and was happy to talk with me slowly and clearly, in simple terms, and to listen and respond cheerfully to my broken Spanish. And the setting is beyond magnificent - this is the last building before the national park.

Noelia is a lovely hostess, she was easy to communicate with via WhatsApp and, if I had spoken Spanish, surely would have been a joy to chat more with. We did our best and still was able to get whatever I needed, including a suggestion for dinner, a place to get hiking poles, and advice on roads I had planned to ride my bike or see on foot. The bed and pillows were very much to my liking, (on the firmer side) and the room was charming. Also, since the occupancy was low, she gave me a choice between rooms which was very kind. I was very happy that she had oat milk for my coffee and parking is available right out front. Thank you, Noelia!
