Rafa made us wonderful breakfasts...fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, croissants and more. The views of old Corsa from the roomtop lounge were wonderful. You really got a sense of the continuity of life in this old medieval village.

From the moment our car entered the street where Hotel Monells Summum is located, we started our magical six day vacation for exploring the Costa Brava. The photos on its website do not do justice to the overall exceptional beauty of every aspect of this lodging. We were greeted by Myrta and her staff who took our luggage to our room. At each turn, whenever they could be helpful, they exceeded our expectations. We looked forward to breakfast each day, enjoying the views of the swimming pool and overall tranquil environment. We are already thinking about a return visit. If you enjoy staying in an exquisite boutique hotel, that feels like a home, then this is the find you will remember very fondly.

We only stayed one night, but it was such a lovely experience from start to finish. When we arrived around 3 PM, we were warmly welcomed by the host. She showed us around the property and then took us to our room—which was just the right size, with super comfortable beds and a beautiful bathroom. She also explained how to get to the village (just a 400m walk), and wow… what a place! We’ve never seen a village so authentic, it was absolutely worth the visit. We spent the rest of the afternoon exploring and came back in the evening. After a great night’s sleep, we had breakfast the next morning and were blown away again. Everything was fresh, local, and so delicious. The owner’s care and attention really made it feel special. All in all, it was the perfect little stay, and we’d 100% recommend it!

This was an absolutely wonderful and adorable property! It is located right in the heart of the old city of Peratallada. The property is in a very old set of buildings, so staying there is like stepping back in time, except with modern conveniences and comforts. Our bed was comfortable, our shower was hot, our breakfast was delicious, and our hostess was very friendly and helpful.

This was a magical, dreamy escape that reminded us of the Tuscan region. Medieval towns were all around and made up the view from our bedroom. Staying on an orchard with all the amenities for a relaxed stay, it was absolutely perfect.

The city of Corça was just a passing city on our itinerary. The location of the hotel in Corça was very good, as it was halfway along our route. The city is close to several other villages that we were visiting.

Such a lovely small town.

Such a lovely small town. Very picturesque and with some lovely looking eateries. We ate at nearby Santino, just a very short walk from Casa Matilda. It was Saturday night, so busy, but with a lovely ambiance. We ate outside in the courtyard which was very pretty and the staff were wonderfully attentive and immediately brought a water bowl for our 2 dogs when we arrived. There were nice lanes to walk our dogs before hitting the road again. We are looking forward to returning.
