It is a great place to escape from the busy cities and relax. The hotel is authentic and the owners are really friendly. During breakfast you can enjoy the beautiful view of the hills. And in the evening you can enjoy the unusual ambiance by the fireplace. Just one remark, don't forget to turn left when you enter the village 😉

Not much , we thought it was still a Smurf village there but due to conflict with Sony or Hollywood pictures they had to take everything down that had to do with Smurf’s out of the village since 2017 It is a nice little city to pass by, but I wouldn’t recommend you staying there for more than one day as it is very, very boring absolutely nothing to do there

We had a really great and friendly welcome at the hotel. Also we went for dinner in the restaurant which was great with a wide selection also for vegetarians/ vegans. We followed our hosts recommendations and were really happy with that. We only stayed for a night but the facilities (pool etc.) looked great too. It's a shame that the town is only reachable by a long drive through the mountains because its definitely worth it! :) The free parking lot is also directly in front of the house.

Property is really lovely and the landscaping is gorgeous. The breakfast buffet was nice, and eating outside on the patio was a treat. Really tranquil setting. While we did not use the pool, it looked lovely.

We had planned only one night in Jimera de Libra, as we were hiking through the area. As it turned out, we wish we had an extra night. There are very interesting caves in the region, and a little more time to explore would have been great.

Nice mountainside village with friendly people.

Nice mountainside village with friendly people. Fantastic views of the mountains. Very little to do/visit with (as I saw it) one restaurant with rooms. When that’s closed for the day? Fantastic municipal swimming pool. Excellent grounds, wonderful pool and incredible views. Probably one of the best in Spain. The train station is 0.7 miles away. Uphill on arrival! Two trains a day (to Bombadilla) 06:33 and 18:35!? Buses Monday, Wednesday and Friday!
