AustraliaFabulous cute accommodation. Perfect for small breaks, we stayed 2 nights (would need washing machine for longer stays). It had a private balcony pool, great spot for enjoying a glass of wine and reading a book! Loved this place, great to get away from the busy cities and relax yet still loads of historical things to explore in the town and plenty of places to eat. Thank you for letting us enjoy your property on our travels! We would definitely stay here again - highly recommend this place.

Medina Sidonia is a beautiful town and very Spanish.
Medina Sidonia is a beautiful town and very Spanish. There aren’t many foreign tourists and the bars, restaurants and shops are all Spanish - which we found great. People were welcoming and kind to us. The town is very pretty and small but well equipped with all that we needed. We traveled by bus and did not have a car - this meant we generally stayed in the town and relaxed.

The Gothic church was for me the most beautiful church I've seen up until now. Also went to El Castillo, Arco de Belen, Monasterio de Maria Jose, El de Arriba, and Monasterio San Cristobal, where nuns from the monasteries will sell you traditional cakes from Medina behind a gate or a rotating door where there's no contact. Arco de la Pastora, El Saladero, Mueso Etnologico, The Cloacas (Roman Sewere), Museo Arquiologico...basically every tourist sight available—church, monastery, etc.—and we was well worth it. Places we went to eat were our hotel restaurant Cabeza de Toro, Hotel Medina Sidonia, Restaurante El Castillo, and El Bar Cadiz. Do have to mention that this town has a lot, and I mean a lot of hills and curious little winding streets; if you have difficulty walking for long distances and hills, you might struggle. Make sure to take comfortable footwear and a coat for those chilly nights.

Hotel is within a walking or driving distance from many of the cities attractions. It is a very nice town to explore on foot, some uphill walking as expected but well worth it. You can find Mercadona (with a gorgeous vista just behind it) and a petrol station within few minutes of the hotel. Hotel itself is quiet enough and looks apart, very nice interior and rooms are cozy although view is hit and miss depending on which one you get. Parking is close by but uphill and kind of against traffic so might be tough to park during busy hours.

Good location close to everything in Medina Sidonia, with the bars and restaurants within walking distance. It's right outside the old town with free private parking, very convenient. Ample room with a view on some trees and some countryside (as well as a house yard). The bathroom is spacious with natural light.
Staff was very busy with the restaurant but still friendly.
The hotel has a nice restaurant with a terrace (we didn't eat there). At night, the place is very quiet except for the AC and owls (love it).

Cute 5 bedroom boutique hotel in quiet street walking distance to centre. No reception, but easy coded access to hotel/room. Nice decor throughout. Small communal roof terrace. Very good value for money.

The location was spectacular and the apartment was part of a small hotel in pretty gardens at the top of the town with views down towards the sea. The decoration and furnishing was to a high standard.

The apartment is situated a short walk from the main square, which was ideal. The bed was very comfortable, we slept very well. Medina Sidonia is a very pretty hilltop village, we loved our stay.
