Everything about Hotel Rural Playa de Aguilar was wonderful. A relaxing stay, staff was so friendly, enjoyed the spacious balcony off our room and the owner Rogelia was incredibly helpful. Would definitely recommend this as a place to stay when visiting the Cudillera area.

A comfortable traditional style hotel. The wooden balcony was delightful. Situated in the heart of Cudillero. The staff at reception were lovely, we arrived dripping wet on our bicycles. Our bicycles were securely stored in a storage space at ground level. We enjoyed a few hours in a sitting area and the staff kindly made tea and coffee for us. A big breakfast cooked on site (additional cost) which was great. Comfortable beds and efficient radiator heaters.

Located in Pravia, the hotel is a renovated and historic palatial home dating back to the 16th century, located amid stunning countryside, green mountains and just a few minutes from the beach.

A classic hotel from another era (the edifice is over 500 years old!) like a few others we have encountered in authentic corners of Spain. The hotel was centrally located in the historic core of the small town. Although there was not a lot to see in Pravia, it is close to a lot of beauty. Valentina welcomed us with a huge smile, set out a great breakfast, and gave us great advice on visiting the prettiest miradors, beaches, and small towns in the area. The room was large, the bed was very comfortable, there was a kettle for tea in the room, and we we had a great stay.
