Actually Soto del Barco is a very tiny village.
Actually Soto del Barco is a very tiny village. There is a paved path leading to a "castle" which is very amenable (the path, the castle is private), and then you can walk 2km to the beach of Los Quebrantos, which is splendid. The walk is by the road (so no risk at all).
The views from the hotel "Palacio de la Magdalena" are totally world-class. And the cook there is great. Book your table in advance.

A cosy and a very clean hotel situated in Soto del Barco. A good restaurant downstairs where you can have your breakfast. Station El Parador not far from the hotel.

A good situated lovely hotel. We had two big rooms with comfortable beds and good air conditioning. Breakfast was also very good.
