Vejer is a beautiful town and our room with a terrace gave us the opportunity to enjoy the views of the town and the sea. The staff was phenomenal. The bedroom was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was a good size and the sitting room was a nice extra.

Was there anything NOT to like, is the question! Beautiful location, super comfortable accommodations and a fantastic breakfast included. The meals at the restaurant were delicious and the service attentive. The hotel is in a beautiful location with many interesting areas to relax, explore and enjoy the views.

We've been traveling in Spain for three weeks, and this has been our favorite hotel. The rooms were simply but beautifully decorated, and comfortable.and the entire building was beautifully rustic.The hotel had a cafe and restaurant, both of which seemed popular with the locals, so it was enjoyable to sit in the outside plaza and watch the Vejer world go by.

The hotel is very simple and clean. The bed was comfortable. We booked a room with two single beds, but our booking was messed up and we got a room with one double bed. Since this didn’t work for us ( two tall guys ), we had to book a second room. Otherwise the experience was ok.. Safe parking for our motorcycles was important for us and worked well.

Vejer is a truly beautiful town with it's whitewashed...

Vejer is a truly beautiful town with it's whitewashed streets, charming squares, and stunning views it creates a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. We loved wandering through the narrow lanes, discovering local shops, cafés, and restaurants, and soaking up the authentic Spanish character. The locals are very friendly and the town is full of history which has a unique charm, while also being just a short drive from some fantastic beaches. Whether you're looking for culture, great food, or simply a peaceful place to unwind, Vejer is an excellent destination. We would definitely recommend a visit and look forward to returning very soon!

Best staff EVER!

Best staff EVER! Super clean, very large room, amazing views, the beds and linens were sublime, it was a perfect location in the old center and very easy to get luggage to the door. The only down side was that the ceiling was thin and noise could be heard from upstairs. This was not a problem and we slept extremely well due to the comfortable bed and linens!

Pros: Very attractive old town.

Pros: Very attractive old town. Lovely church, castle and squares. Large selection of bars and restaurants. Traffic free (mainly). Great local beaches (12km). Cons: Very hilly (difficult for mobility). 2-3 days maximum to see all.

Vejer is really two towns, the old town in the North and the...

Vejer is really two towns, the old town in the North and the new town in the South. The old town is a warren of narrow streets and steps but the new town is more car friendly. For food supplies you really need to go to the new town, but the old town has some excellent restaurants and tapas bars, mostly situated around the Plaza Espana. This is a beautiful smal plaza with an elaborate fountain and seats around the edge: a very lively spot where locals and tourists hang out. The ice creams in the Italian geladaria were superb, generous and highly recommended. El Jardin del Califa restaurant is highly recommended and they also have a fast-food, takeaway close by. There is plenty to do in the area, including beaches, a superb modern art park and easy driving to Cadiz and Jerez.

Stunning town with a ridiculous amount of excellent bars and restaurants serving top quality food at a fraction of the price you would pay in the UK. Very Spanish (obviously) and everyone super friendly and accommodating. Lots to see and do around and not far from Cádiz. You do need a car which you can park for free at the bottom of the town and then walk up - it is incredible hilly and steep so proper shoes recommended! Beautiful main plaza with fountain and tapas places and restaurants. Highly recommend.

The town of Vejer de la Frontera is slightly off the beaten...

The town of Vejer de la Frontera is slightly off the beaten path but worth the side trip. Beafutiful views of the valley below and several walks you can take to different parts of town. The Spanish square is a fine place tuio sit on the benches and people watch and check out the interesting shops nearby. We happened to be there when a Spring Fiesta was happening and saw many beautiful women of all ages dressed in their Flamenco finery. The Tugasa Convent was an authentic old building well updated with a very good restaurant on the upper square. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

The location is great and the hotel itself has long historical background which adds to the charm of the stay in the town. The room is spacious and has everything you need. It's very quiet at night and our room has a view to the whitewashed houses on the hill opposite us.

The hotel was in the middle of the pueblo, but we had to walk up hill with a suitcase to get there. The room was clean and the lady who served breakfast was very friendly and offered us squeezed orange juice, the best think of the breakfast.
