Close to airport with FREE Shuttle back & forth. Checked in at hotel snd then took shuttle back to airport for 30min train to city. Great breakfast with fantastic selection offered before my 7 am flight. Clean room and hotel. Would stay again

We had neither the time nor the need to explore Vantaa, as our hotel served merely as a base for trips to nearby golf courses (a 45-minute drive away). We could have found accommodation closer to the courses, but proximity to the airport was the deciding factor due to our early return flight. We noticed that most accommodation outside Helsinki falls below the quality standards we are accustomed to in other parts of Europe; many of the hotels resemble hostels.

Vantaa was a good place to stay out of Helsinki with much reasonable prices. The aviation museum is a must see and spent half a day there. The mall near the hotel was very good and spent a whole day there. We used Vantaa as a break between trips but would spend more time in future.

Our primary reason for Vantaa was our need to be at the airport very early. The public transport runs super efficiently. We bussed into central Helsinki using 2 routes and both were excellent. Bus stops literally outside the apartment block. The train station is a brisk 10 minute walk away and again super service for Helsinki, the airport or connections to wider Finland.. Locally there's a a couple big supermarkets too.

At this time of year, late April, some of the tourist options dont operate as you might expect aka Hop on/off bus isnt that until into May, (convenient Tourist information at Senate Square in the City Centre. )Olympic Museum may be of interest but wont take that long to look round. Seems if you want the Salmon Soup you had better think about that early on a cold day - initially looks expensive but the pictures show large chunks of fish. Lake Tuulusa can be reached by bus from Kervo rail station - had as short stay there. Harbour boat trip was chilly so went inside after halfhour.

This is close to the airport but some distance from Helsinki. So you need to decide. I was arriving at 10-30 in the evening and my onward flight was next evening. So I booked here, also because they have a free bus service from the airport. But I had a walking tour in Helsinki next morning, and taking time constraints into account I had to take an uber to Helsinki, walk for a ling time with a heavy backpack (my hand luggage), then take a train to Helsinki airport. Not the hotel's problem. Mine. But that is why, if you plan for this kind of thing, be prepared.

In general, Finland is a country to admire and enjoy, wherever you go you will find something that calls your attention to admire. They are always in constant evolution, for example The airport is very nice and I have no doubt that it is the best in Europe.

Comfortable stay, very close to the train station, only a short train ride away from Vantaa airport. Quiet and spacious room, friendly staff and good breakfast. We had an early flight, so we were happy for the option of an early breakfast. We were especially surprised about how pet friendly the hotel is, our dog even got his own blanket, food bowl and a bag of treats!

A really nice hotel within walking distance from Helsinki airport. The staff were friendly and catering to our request. Room facilities are great and spotless. Breakfast was great and many choices. With city buses start right in front of the hotel, Hilton hotel can also serves guests staying longer in Helsinki instead of airport hotel.

One of the best choices if you have a night layover in Helsinki. You will not need to walk from airport building. Moreover, the room was spacious and had an amazing view to airport. Breakfast was amazing, full of different food choices. In general, I recommend this hotel.

It's a small room right below the terminal of Helsinki airport. Unfortunately I got in late and was able to sleep just 4 hours, but the location is excellent: from hotel room to security check is just a few minutes walking!
