EVERYTHING! There was actually nothing to hate about the stay. The people, the location, the room, the food, the activities, everything was beyond expectations. We went for above moderate level of accommodation and we got exactly that and more. The pool was beautiful, everything was looked after exceptionally well. The food was fresh and well cooked. The staff looked after you at meal times. You always felt welcome as Fijians always make you feel. The Spa was lovely. The island was well manicured and managed. The room was cleaned daily and was a great bed to sleep in. The activities organized daily by the staff were great and varied. Beautiful place to stay. Would go back in a flash.

Tokoriki is 'pleasant' but compared with other good Fijian resorts', the resort lacks character and soul! Several Fijian customs are 'addressed through presentations rather than integrated into the life of the resort. Also, although practical, I didn't like all the meals served as they might be in a canteen! I thought of this as an American style resort and didn't like it much,. I should comment that the Fijian staff made up for all this a bit through their wonderful welcome and farewell singing!

We stayed in a beach front Bure for 4 days after a 5 day stay at a small boutique adults only resort nearby. This is a big, chain hotel resort that is very different. It is well suited to families and people who like to lounge around the large central pool with a swim up bar. This is not really us, but we found the resort offered us quiet privacy at our bure, some nice walks, pretty good snorkeling out front of the resort, some fun activities, a nice beach, fantastic sunsets and ok food (at a price). Overall, a very nice time and comparatively good value.

Great if island hopping we stayed 5x nights which was too long as the resort was geared for people staying for less time, ie nothing to do in evenings. Breakfast great, evening menu limited and the extra restaurant was pretty bad and expensive which surprised us as it was an Indian.

The place is beautiful, the facilities are nice and comfortable and the people are caring and always checking to make sure everything is just right. The food was good but thinking dinners could be improved. Ultimately the Fijian staff are the most beautiful, kind and welcoming people and that made it top out at 5 stars for us.

We had the ocean view adults only room.

We had the ocean view adults only room. It was perfect for a romantic getaway. We had our own plunge pool. The room has a TV with chromecast where you can play your own TV. Service from Reception, to restaurants, to poolside to housekeeping to our departure was exceptional. All smiles and genuine hospitality. Food was great especially the buffets. 10/10 would visit again.

We stayed at Sheraton Resort & Spa Takariki Island Fiji in early September for 6 nights with my partner. Our room had a garden view and was equipped with everything we needed, though it could use a light renovation. Housekeeping was done daily, with linen changed every three days. Complimentary water was provided at 0.5L per person per day. The resort grounds are absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the ocean and the island, especially from the dining area. The staff were always warm and welcoming. A special thank you to Irene for her hospitality and support, as well as to the recreation team and the chef for the delicious meals, which is impressive considering the challenges of island logistics. Service in the restaurants was slower than we are used to – sometimes lunch took 40 minutes to an hour – but this seems to be the island pace, so patience is needed. The all-inclusive package took us a couple of days to fully understand. Breakfast buffet was included, lunch was à la carte with a choice of two courses, and dinner offered three courses à la carte or buffet (on some days), plus the option of dining at the excellent Indian restaurant, Kukuima, which we highly recommend. The pool was great, and the highlight of our stay was the snorkelling. You can already see fish just off the beach, and if you swim a bit further out to the reef crest, the variety of marine life is amazing. It’s important to go at high tide to avoid damaging corals or getting injured. The resort also carefully manages activities depending on tide, wind, and waves, which we appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay with beautiful weather, lots of positive energy, and memorable experiences. We would be very happy to return.

We stayed here after a month travelling around New Zealand and Australia and wanted a relaxing final week of our holiday. We felt at home right from the second we stepped foot on the island. The staff are amazing, and everything is done with a smile and a warm 'Bula!' The hotel is extremely clean, and with brilliant facilities. The snorkelling off the beach is the best I have ever experienced. We will definitely be back.

Breakfast was amazing. Room very comfortable. We stayed at Sheraton Tokoriki 2 years ago and had a seaview bure with plunge pool. This time we had a beachfront bure (no plunge pool). Preferred our first bure. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
