i realy loved the stay at wellesley resort. a lot of nature and a quiet place to come down! the breakfast was fabulous and more then enough. every day fresh fruits, a lot from the garden. the pool area and the view at breakfast is stunning!! i also did my very first fishing experience with the stuff there. it was amazing and straight after i got my catched fish served with curry :D thanks a lot to all the stuff at wellesley resort especially to riz!!

Breakfast simple but good, great lunch and dinner options. I'd reccomend to anyone visiting fiji to stay here. We rented a car which was very helpful, lots of parking on the property. Very clean and tidy. We stayed in a Garden bure with a private bathroom - really nice outdoor shower which was cool/

From the warm welcome until we left, we appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. Vinaka to Solo who answered our questions as we explored potential options for future conferences. The breakfast was well beyond our expectations! We were treated to a full cooked breakfast, all of which was served very graciously. Very elegant service and we enjoyed the experience as well as the delicious food. The room was comfortable and spacious also.

Still reminiscing on how we were pampered in this family-run hotel. Spotless round-the-clock cleaning of both the rooms and the common areas, tons (and I mean tons) of useful appliances for everything you might need: from a covered barbecue area with full family-sized kitchen and sitting space, to the main fully furnished kitchen, lots of free-to-use snorkeling and water sports equipment like kayaks and SUP boards, boiling/warm/cold water dispenser in the room... The common pool is always super well kept up and inviting, very enjoyable despite being a few steps away from the sea, especially if the tide is too low to comfortably swim around the beautiful, extensive coral fields all around the area, or even during rainy days. We stayed in both the villa and the upper-floor room: the (huge) villa is exceptional value for a family, and literally stepping out to jump in the pool or run to the beach is priceless, but being just two we felt cozier in the room which also offered a high vantage point to enjoy the views! The free parking was most welcome, and right opposite the street there is a collection of shops and restaurants that can satisfy most needs, featuring even a spa studio! A short walk away you can also enjoy the street food and horse rides next to the pier. Lots of local attractions a short car drive away are also all around the area (waterfalls, diving spots, nice villages and resort areas, or just random beautiful spots so abundant in Fiji). Sun, Bill and all the staff are extremely helpful, kind and just a joy to be around - you made our honeymoon in your hotel such a highlight, by the end we felt we like were staying with friends. We'll remember it for the rest of our lives thanks to you! And we'll always remember the types of coconuts too ;)

I liked everything! Robert, Lini (Dad & Mom), Naomi and and her sister are such amazing hosts. We felt part of the family. They are so trustful and gave us one of the best experiences while in Fiji. Not that everyone could get the experience but we had the chance that one of Lini’s relatives got married during our stay and we were invited 😍😍😍. It was such a pleasure to experience the real Local Fijian Wedding. We were so lucky!!! Their property is located next to a river. You can hang out by the river and do kayaking too! So relaxing and beautiful. Breakfast is included and Lini cooks food from her own backyard. So delicious!!!!!

We were met by Sam and Moreen as we pulled into the drive. We arrived about the time we estimated we would having driven from Nadi - about 3 hours at a leisurely pace. They greeted us warmly and said just to call if we needed anything. The apartment we had was upstairs above their home and was spacious with 2 bedrooms, air conditioning, kitchen and bathroom that had everything we needed. It was very homely and comfortable. The pool was large, clean and beautiful with large rocks around the outside that gave it more of an appearance of a natural pool in the countryside. We were told to ask Sam for coconut water whenever we wanted it - I did not realise that meant he went up one of the many coconut trees to collect fresh coconuts and then prepare them to be drunk out of and then eat the flesh inside - what a treat. The property is in a a residential area of large houses and away from the main centres and very quiet. We were shown through the other building that has 7 spacious rooms with ensuite and kitchenette also available and I would love to book the whole place with a group of friends. Best to have a rental car so you can venture out - we visited Suva (about an hour away) a couple of times. One day we went across the road to a resort that welcomes people not staying there to use some of their facilities - we hired sea kayaks for a few hours for only FJD 30. We purchased food from a nearby village, Navua where Sam also recommended a place to buy fresh fish, sadly we were there too late in the day and the fish had sold out. There is a large centre in Pacific Harbour being renovated currently as a culturaL centre and it will be good to go back and see how that develops. There is a park across the road with beach access if you are wanting to swim in the ocean. The owner of the property is based in Auckland and you can contact him via WhatsApp with questions also during your stay. He was always quick to answer and valued our custom.

Lini & Robert are excellent hosts and are quick to consider their guests as part of their family. Their accommodations are nicely appointed for travellers. We were able to utilize their two kayaks and enjoy a paddle on the quiet river/lagoon. I enjoy walking each morning and their location affords gentle walks along quiet roads. It is also only about a 20 minute walk to a wonderful beach [the warm ocean there has a sandy bottom for safe and refreshing swimming]. To get to the beach you pass by shops and restaurants where it is easy to find breakfast items and fruit etc. We were also able to connect with a local taxi driver and it was easy and inexpensive to call him and have him pick us up at the property and take us to the main road shops or back to the property if we were too tired to make the return walk. We had a quiet and simple holiday there and we are grateful to Lini and Robert for hosting us.
