The location was amazing. You are right next to several waterfalls and can see an amazing view from every window. The seal woman statue is just down the steps from the house. The house is warm and inviting.

The style of the hotel and the room is really cozy. The room was clean and the breakfast was wonderful. It's what you need to start a day of hiking. Also there is a cliff in the village there where you can see the puffins from really close. We had a wonderful time!

Typical Faroese landscape on the way to this village. The road is marked with a flower, which in the Faroe Islands means a scenic route. After all the unforgettable views, you come to a small village that has everything that takes a traveler to the Faroe Islands: a church with a grass roof, a waterfall, the sea, a river and colorful little houses. There is also a school in the village. From the village, there is an interesting hike to the neighboring bay. The starting point for conquering the highest peak of the Faroe Islands is close by.
