Loved this hotel! The room was huge! The beds were very comfy. The pool area was small but not busy, and the steam room and Jacuzzi were both great. The staff really made an effort to make us feel welcome and the building inside and out is very grand. It is a perfect location, close enough to be a short walk from the front but far enough away not to be noisy. We loved it.

What a beautiful place, and cheaper than Le Touquet.

What a beautiful place, and cheaper than Le Touquet. The beach is to die for! I would have stayed longer but do find out if is a bank holiday as most of the shops etc were shut and we couldn't even get a carton of milk! The town does need to sort out its wifi, it was non existent, so we couldn't find restaurants or contact home...the locals say it is a consistent problem!

I only stayed for one night. The hotel was pleasant.

I only stayed for one night. The hotel was pleasant. My room was good. I ate in a small restaurant recommended by the receptionist in the commercial centre about 300 meters away - nice food! Finding the hotel was not a problem. I did not visit Berck sur mer or go to the seaside. I just needed to break my journey.

Berck is the French equivalent of Great Yarmouth, a great big beach, stuff to do and loads of beachfront flip flop shops. Le Touquet down the road is much posher but Berk was friendly and very welcoming to families.

We only stayed for one evening as a stop off back to the ferry. It’s not somewhere I would rush back to personally but it had a lovely beach. The restaurant we chose to eat at wasn’t great but that’s just luck of the draw I guess.

Very interesting market on Wednesday.

Very interesting market on Wednesday. We stayed in the 2nd week in September and found very few restaurants were open. They seem to have decided the season was over. I appreciate the holiday season in France generally ends on 15 September but it was rather a let down to see shops and restaurants shutting down before then.

Location near to the beach - which was fabulous. Newly refurbished hotel and friendly staff. Had breakfast and evening meal both very good and great value.
